something i intend to regret [nessa]

[Brie Alley]

As these days went by, Brie stayed far away from the crowds. She went to classes, did her homework an went to bed. Nothing exciting was going on. But yet, her life deserved it. Everything had taken a wrong turn. She hated the fact, that she had been the cause of a break up. Stupid Brie. She sat on the pier staring out at the water.

Tears ran down her sorrow cheeks. An she stumbled at the sight of many fish. They were still out in the cold weather. Shouldn't they be, in there houses. Wherever they were. She sighed, and stared out at the horizen.

She looked at the water. The colors seemed to be faded away. She sighed, and then stood up, and jumped into the water. She wasn't suppose to, but she did. She hated cold water, but right now, she didn't care.

As she got out of the water. People stared. She didn't care. She sat crossed legged on the pier. And smiled, today. Was a brand new day. She was freezing, and the water from her hair, dripped down her back. She smiled, but felt tears. She wiped them away. And sat quietly.

Nessa decided to go out on this cold day. She frowned as she walked out. The sun was not shining, not one bit. She let that fact go. All that was on her mind was Brayden. Why did he always have to be on HER mind. She guessed that he hated her, and that Brie hated her, and that the world hated her. Well at least that is what it seemed. She just had to go and break up didn't she. Well there was nothing she could do now, was there? She at least was moving on, slowly. After the break up Nessa had changed, quite a bit. She was more closed in about her feelings.

Nessa was surprised with what she saw next. She saw a girl jump into the freezing water from the pier. She tried to see if she knew the girl. Well what do you know, it was a girl she knew. It happened to be Brie Alley. The girl she NEEDED to talk to right about now.

Nessa walked up to the pier as a tear stung her eye and her cheek as it rolled down her face. She took a seat next to Brie and then decided what to do. There was a small silence. It was a good silence though. She then hugged her. Yes she knew she was sopping wet, and she knew she had been really mad at her, and of course she knew it was awkward. But it seemed right, in a way. She whispered sorry in her ear.

Yeah she was still a tiny bit mad at Brie, as talk went around that she and Brayden had kissed and all. But she was more mad at herself. So she let the madness at Brie go, and came to her faults. She was truly sorry.

Brie just stared out into the water for a bit. Thinking of all of the times, she wished she wasn't alive. Brie looked down at the fish, they too seemed to think she was weird person, she didn't blame them. She was a horrible person, and hated the fact that she had hurt her friend. Brie was never like this, but she needed to learn that life, wasn't fair. She sighed, and moved her damp hair out of her face.

Brie looked around, at the sky, and the her fellow classmates. They too seem to think, that she was weird. Espeically for jumping into the lake. Why did she have to be so stupid. She then heard footsteps. She turned around to find, Nessa Hansen. Someone who hated her, well that's what she heard. They sat in silence, not knowing what to say. But who could blame them, they were in a fight.

It wasn't a fight, honestly. It was like a agruement, something that she tried to avoid. But these days it seemed like that was the only thing that was in her life. Drama, and she hated it. When Nessa wrapped her arms around her, to give her a hug. A smile crossed her face. But when the words sorry came out of her mouth, Brie wrapped her arms around her. And then whispered, No. I am sorry.

Nessa was probably still mad a her, she didn't blame her. She had kissed her boyfriend. But on accident. "Nessa. I wanna say, I am sorry. I should have never been to close to Brayden. An our kiss, doesn't even mean anything to me. It was an accident, and I intend to keep it that way." Brie smiled at her, and then sighed.

Nessa frowned. This was not Brie's fault. Nessa had gotten them all into this mess, now she had to try to dig them all out of it. Nessa looked Brie straight in the eyes. Now she did not want to seem like the girl that was trying to be the good girl and trying to make it so that she was taking all of it. Yeah she wanted to, but not because she wanted to seem like she was right and Brie was mean or anything, and DEFINITELY not to make Brie angry. Nessa Unwrapped her hug and looked to Brie. "Brie, you did nothing wrong. Sure you got close with Brayden, but what are best friends supposed to do? Avoid each other?" Nessa smiled as tears still came down her face. It was an encouraging smile. "Look i not only caused the break up, but also your two's friendship." Nessa's smiled faded as she said this and bit her lower lip. Nessa swallowed hard. "And i know the kiss was an accident, and i don't really care if you did kiss." Nessa gave a sigh of relief. At least she had gotten that off her chest. "You have no reason to be sorry!" Nessa told Brie hugging her again.

Nessa had just wished she had worked things out with Brayden a bit easier. "But you know what i heard? That Ally Trinton kissed him! How awkward is that? I mean i don't even think they are really friends!" Nessa laughed at this, for she thought of how weird that was, and how Brayden reacted. Maybe this was what they needed, some friend time, without guys, and some laughs. Sounded like some good medicine to Nessa.

Why was Nessa blaming herself. When, it was truely her fault. This wasn't going to good, but Brie was gonna let her soft side come out first. Well, before anything else. Brie smiled at Nessa. But she still didn't think Nessa should be blaming herseldf. When it was Brie's fault. "Nessa. Right now. Brayden and I needed to go our seperate ways. Our friendship was built on something. And now, since that something isn't with him anymore. I don't even wanna talk to him." She was trying to avoid him, all of the time now. What he had said about Nessa. That to her, wasn't cool. She felt Nessa unlock her arms from her. And there, Brie looked her in the eye. "Hey. I think, we both need to forget Brayden. And I think. Don't tell him this. He made a horrible mitake, for not taking you back. There is nothing not to like about you." Brie smiled at her.

She hugged Nessa, back. Well. They were friends. But then, when Brie heard about Ally. Her eyes wided. "Ally, did what." Brie had heard her quite well. But wasn't Cody dating her. Uhm. "Well. You know. You cousin is dating her. But to me. I don't see how he could date her." She laughed. And then let go of Nessa. "But if you ask me. Ashley, and him. They would make a good couple."

Nessa frowned once again. This was not her fault. It was Nessa's. But she could not seem to convince her. "You know, it doesn't really matter who's fault it is. I mean lets just say it was all our faults!" Nessa said laughing, through her tears. Nessa smiled. It really did not matter, since it had happened, its not like they could change back time.

They hugged once more. "I know. It was so wrong, and i don't think Cody really likes her that much!" Nessa smiled. "But yeah Cody is a great guy, why would he go out with her? Oh well it is his choice, you know!" Nessa smiled as they let go. Nessa took a deep breath, for relief. Did this mean they were friends again?
