"Allison?" Sev called out as he looked around the room. "Allison, are you in here?" He walked across the room and glanced out the window. He did not see her running out of the shack or anywhere as far as he could see toward Hogsmeade. Did she attempt to leave in order to get help? Sev stepped back from the window. He did not think finding his way back would actually take more than fifteen minutes. If he wasn't so damn distracted by-
Now was not the time to think about what had just happened to him. He walked back over to the metal dragon that first sent him through the weird hallway. He touched it and turned to see the wall had disappeared again. He let go of the dragon and the wall began to go back into place. As soon as the wall was back, Sev touched the dragon again. Nothing happened. It must only work every half hour or something like that, Sev thought. He looked at the ground, for any hint of where Allison had gone.
He walked over toward the door and looked down the hallway. Unless there was another secret passage, this was the only way she could have gone. Sev's heart skipped a beat. What if she got lost in the Shack while trying to escape? The guilt completely on him, Sev began running down the hallway crying out Allison's name. He squinted as he looked down the end of the hall.
There was a door there. Sev swore he was here before. If he had realized that this hallway would have led him here, then he would have gotten back fifteen minutes ago. Then he looked back toward the door. Allison could have gone through here trying to find him. He sighed and opened the door slightly, whispering her name.
