Sarah was unsure of how Jackie projected Brandon's search for change. She could only assume that he was easily influenced by Sirius' idea of moving to the next level in life. They weren't really that old. But both parties had it wrong. Sarah knew how Brandon felt all this time while Jackie was gone. It would only be a matter of time when they would see each other again. Were they really quitting on what they have? Sarah sighed quietly, still having this unsettling feeling in her chest. "I don't quite think it's that. He's just lost and you know how persuasive Sirius can be. Besides, men never really know what they want!"
It really wasn't her place to say anything more about Brandon. Even though she scolds him like a mother would to her troublesome son, she was there to see how much he really did love Jackie. There is no denying that he still had feelings, it was evident even at the party the night before. Sarah could sense that there was something unfinished about the two, but would not interfere unlike some shameless little twit. And while she tried to enjoy the sway of the people around her, hips moving and shaking, hair in disarray--she couldn't take her eyes off the two sods.
Looking back at Jackie, she offers a forced smile and walks off the floor to the counter. It would really be a pain to have to put up with those two, considering she was trying to help Jackie out here by having fun and loosening up. But for them to be in the same vicinity? There's no telling how Jackie would react to seeing Brandon there. She ordered another drink, something stronger this time for her and looks back at Sarah. "I don't know if I should tell you this, but..." she chews her bottom lip, weighing the options she had and the possible outcomes. If she didn't tell Jackie, it would be a disaster. If she told her, it would still be a disaster. "They're here... Sirius and Brandon. And let me just say that his eyes have been glued to you since the dance floor."
