[Brayden Christiansen]

It was now 12:20, and Brayden had been riding on the red Hogwarts train for about two and a half hours, since its departure at 10 o' clock. His luggage was neatly packed away in the space provided in the carriage. His wand was laying on the seat next him, for he had just got done practicing some spells he had learned from his previous year at Hogwarts.

Brayden was still in his muggle clothes, because, even though he was pure blood, he was quite fond of the muggle style, and becuase they still had a long ways away until they were even close to the school, then again, who could tell where they were, out the window, everything was just a blur. Maybe the train was bewitched to go even faster than a normal train?

The refreshment trolley made its first round at 12 o' clock, and Brayden bought himself some Berite Botts Every Flavour Beans, a bottle of Butterbeer, and some Licorice Wands. He sat in his seat, sipping his Butterbeer, and eating the beans, he saved the wands for later. Hopefully, someone would join him on this journey to keep him company.

<sup>Smiling, he entered the train with quite a pace. It was odd saying goodbye to someone at the Train Station, that had never happened before. Today however stood a handsome young man, accompinied by a beautiful young woman, with a teenage boy and girl. His uncle, auntie and of course cousins. His real family now. Having been officially adopted into the family of 'Larson' it felt quite a change from being with his blood parents and sibling. How they disgusted him. Never once had they noticed him. To them, he was nothing. He would always be nothing - nobody cared there. But they did. The others, his favourites.

Gerard gazed out of the window for a second, waving goodbye to them, before speeding off down the carriage to find a empty compartment, or even one with someone in it. To be honest, he did not mind. It was a fresh start for Master Turner. Being here again brought back old memories, but they made him sparkle. Before had been amazing, and this time would be equally good.

"Can I join you?" The Black Haired boy was peering into another compartment, one boy filling it. If he did not want him to join him, he would merely find somewhere else. Gerard would not fuss. It was not his job to decide if he sat here or there, but the person actually within this compartment. So he awaited his answer calmly.</sup>

He gobbled up a few of the Bertie Botts Beans, setting the particularly nasty ones to the side, and closed up the box. He was filled at the moment, so he decided to save some for when he got to the school, or the person who decides to sit with him, if they ever came.

Before he almost fell asleep, a boy peered inside the carriage, and asked if he could come in. Finally, someone was here! It was so boring being left by yourself on a long train journey.
"Of course you can! I'm Brayden Christiansen, 3rd year Gryffindor. Who might you be?" he asked the boy. He re-opened his Bertie Bott bag and extended it out to the boy.
"Would you like some? I also have Licorice Wands if your hungary." he said.

Just then a first year Hufflepuff collapsed into their compartment, completely out of breath and still in her Muggle clothes. She glanced wearily at the other two and managed a smile. "Emma Winters," she said. "First year who almost missed the train." She leaned back in the seat and closed her eyes, still breathing deeply.

<sup>Thankfully the boy allowed him to enter the Compartment to sit with him. It overjoyed him, since it could mean making a new friend before actually arriving at the Hogwarts Station. That would be quite the way to start his new term. "Thankyou," he smiled, disappearing from the Carriage into the Compartment. Before giving him his name, he comforted himself by sitting down more-or-less indian style on the seat. Now down to the buisness ; all the name-sharing and whatnot.

"Gerard Turner at your service. Good to meet you Brayden. I'm a First Year Slytherin,"</sup> the boy plainly grinned his childish grin. All that talking (well not that much) made him hungry, and was relieved to see Brayden hold out a box of bertie beans to him. "Awesome!" Taking a couple, he popped one into his mouth. Knowing his luck it would be a flavour he utterly despised, but that was the whole fun of it. So he sucked on the Bean, discovering that it was infact Horseradish. Gerard nearly gagged but managed to swallow it, however it left a rather disgusting after taste. "Not exactly a tasteful flavour," Gerard laughed, but stopped when another entered the compartment.

A girl called Emma Winters, also a First Year. "Good to meet you Emma - Gerard Turner." There was space for her beside him, which she sat in, however closed her eyes. He shrugged, looking over to Brayden. "So, do you play Quidditch?"

Victiore was on platform 9 3/4 with her parents. She was waiting for the train, so she could go back to hogwarts, instead of staying home with family and puting up with visiting relatives. ::)Victiore found a compartment with3 people inside it, one girl and two boys. She opened the door, "May I sit here please?" she said with a bit of a french accent. "My name is Victiore Evans, first year gryffindor, returning for my second term." she continued.

Brayden took the bag of beans back and set them next to him on the open seat, and took a few. He popped the first one in his mouth; cherry. He smiled and sucked on it, savoring the flavor. He ate the next one; blueberry. One by one he took each one and sucked on them, until he had eaten all the ones in his handful. He kept himself from grabbing for more, incase other people wanted them.

As he set the bag down, a girl completely out of breath, ran into the carriage. She collapsed into the seat next to Gerard. Brayden raised his eyebrows at her, but then grabbed the bag of Bertie Botts and offered them to the girl.
"I'm Brayden Christiansen. 3rd year, Gryffindor. Would you like some Bertie Botts?" he asked her. Before she was able to answer, he was interrupted yet again.

Another girl walked into the carriage. She spoke with a smooth, French accent.
"May I sit here please? My name is Victiore Evans, first year gryffindor, returning for my second term."
He pulled the Bertie Botts bag back to the seat, so she could get in, and waited for her to get situated. After everyone was settled, he spoke again.
"Well, I think we should all introduce ourselves before begin to talk amogst ourselves. I'm Brayden Christiansen, as Gerard and Emma already know. I'm in Gryffindor, in my third year." he said to them all.
"...Who wants to go next?" he asked them.

<sup>Another entered soon after Emma had done. Brayden was a popular fella' today. Her name was Victoiore Evans was her name. A smile. Before he even had a chance to introduce himself, the other boy did so. He even brought a good idea upon him. For them all to introduce themselves one after another. Seeing as Bray (nickname) had gone first, Gerard went second. This should be fun. "I will," he beamed.

"Gerard Turner's the name lovey, First Year Slytherin and an absolute pleasure to meet you." Now it was Emma's turn, unless she had actually gone to sleep. Mhhm, they wouldn't know yet.</sup>

Emma's eyes snapped open at the mention of Quidditch, now sitting straight up in her seat. Being a Muggle she had just learned about the legendary wizarding sport and was just dieing to know everything she could about it. When Brayden offered her Bertie Botts she raised an eyebrow and looked questioningly at them.

"What are..." she was cut off at the arrival of another person, joining their soon to be crowded compartment.

"Emma Winters, first year Hufflepuff," she flashed Victoire a smile and then shifted her things over so the girl could sit next to her.

Victiore noticed the other girl had moved her stuff so Victiore could sit next to her, so she did."Thank You, very much" She was happy to be going back. Victiore was in her muggle clothes, she had her handbag in her lap, her laugage was stored and she had her laptop in its case. She also had her wand.

Victiore had heard of quidditch, but only as it has a mean and nasty sport, thats played by death eaters(stated by her father). She was confused was Emma wanted to no all that she could about it."Ecscuse me, why are you all happy to speak of such things such as Quidditch as it is a mean and nasty sport, thats played by death eaters?"

<sup>Gerard gave the other two a bewilded look as the new arrival spoke of Quidditch. "How on earth is Quidditch bad? Infact, it is quite a marvellous sport. I was on the Slytherin Team for a term or so, sadly I left so my spot was filled." Heavens, he hadn't thought of quidditch in a while, nor played it. He felt quite alone because of it. There was no chance that Master Turner would try out for the Slythie team again. From what he had heard, they were a strong team now and Gerard didn't want to get in the way of that. But then again, a couple people had graduated, leaving spots free. Mhhm. What to do?

"And Victiore, the sport may be played by Death Eaters, but also by the good side," he announced, twirling a piece of black hair around his index finger.</sup>

Emma was equally shocked by Victoire's statement. She nodded, agreeing with Gerard, "Quidditch is a wizarding sport, so any witch or wizard can play it. That may include Death Eaters but they're not the only ones who play it. Many other schools like Hogwarts has it as their school sport, it's not a bad sport."

She turned to Gerard, "I didn't know you played Quidditch. What position?"

"Oh, my father, before 'it' happened said thats only death eaters played it and any person other then death eaters who played it were not good people." Victiore's eyes started to water at the very mention of her father. "I might try out for quidditch now that I know it is a neutral sport, just as long as my mother and sister don't find out." Victiore got out her family encrested hankichiefe and wiped her eyes.

Victiore decieded to start up her laptop and check her emails, do research and arange her Hogwarts friendship page. So she got out her laptop and scaned her thumb over the thumb scanner, did a hand print and inserted her wand into the wand checker.

After the conversation they had about Quidditch, the girl with the French accent pulled out a thin, square thing. Brayden looked quizzically at her. What could it be, Brayden had never seen something like that before. The girl, Brayden quessed opened it, and stuck her wand inside of it, so it must've been something magical.
"Uhmm, excuse, but what is that?" he questioned her, taking out some more Bertie Botts and eating them.

^{"I was chaser,"} he mentioned in answer to Emma's question. "It was a while ago though. Could have been last year even, I'm not too sure."

[/color] Merely shrugging, he looked towards Victiore again, her now believing him that quidditch was neutral, not just for the dark side of the magical word. But as he watched her, he could swear she seemed saddened as she spoke of her father. Gerard frowned. He hated it when people became upset, and it was partly because of him bringing up a stupid subject which involved someone she cared about (that was obviously gone).

As Brayden did, he looked to the French Girl in confusion. Not because he didn't know what the thing was, but because she had it out on the train. It shouldn't work, they were in the Wizarding world now. "Excuse me, but how can you use it here? It should be impossible." Maybe she'd have a valuable explanation.[/sup][/color][/font][/blockquote]

Emma's eyes widened. "That's really cool! I just tried out for chaser, don't know how I did or anything, but it was fun." She glanced over at Victoire's laptop, "Sweet," she said. "What kind of model is it?"

"Oh its a laptop, its a muggle object but before'it' happened my father enchanted it as for more security. The owner must put their wand in this hole(Victiore pointed to a hole that was just wider then a wand). My father enchanted it so that muggles think its a cord hole. If they stick a cord in the hole they get electricuted." Victiore got into her email's, to see if any of her friends had replied to her email. "My father worked as the assistant to the minister for magic in the ministry, so my father got a reward for saving the minister's life when he was just new. So the minister said to my father 'If you ever need anything just ask I am eternaly in your debt'. So my father asked if he could enchant my laptop to work to the Hogwarts Express."

^{He stared the Victiore in awe. Her father had saved the minister's life? Blimey. "Your dad is pretty much a hero then,"} he chuckled, half joking/half being serious. The whole laptop thing was pretty amazing. Gerard had honeslty never seen anything like it. She was one lucky girl to be honest. Shrugging, he turned from the rest of them to gaze out of the window. They pass endless views of countryside. He literally wanted to arrive at the school soon, he'd missed it too much. He sighed. Not too long to go, right?

Hmm, a laptop. Never heard of it, probably because it was a muggle object. Brayden was pure-blood, and the only this he knew at the muggle woulrd was their clothes, and a PSP. He looked back at the laptop. It seemed pretty cool, but what on Earth did it do? She didn't really explain it, just that it was a muggle device.

Brayden look out his wand and pointed it at the box of Bertie Botts.
"Winagrdium Leviosa!" he said, and the box floated up neatly to were he had positioned his trunk. He pointed it now at the Licorice Wands, and did the same thing, except this time, they floated down towards him. He took one and bit it.
"Anyone want one?" he asked them.

"No Thank You Brayden," Victiore smiled when she spoke to Brayden. "Yes, my father is a hero, what is everyone's blood status? I'm half-blood, I think, I'm not sure because my dad and his relatives are magic, and my mum is a witch but her family isn't so I'm confused." Victiore started typing really fast on her laptop, only because she had been tutored by the best. "Do any of you no what a laptop is or does?"
