library after hours

Hannah looked at her hand "must've forgot to put the book down" she muttered. she did that sometimes. once she carried one around for hours

*Tobias raises a brow.. and looks down the hall*

[Julia Thorne]

Stumbles out of the fireplace, spitting slightly. "That is that last time I use the floo network to get back here!" Waves her wand at her cloak, dust cleaning off instantly. She hears someone talking on the other side of the door. "You know, if you wanted to come in, my office is always open!" She yelled as she made her way toward her desk, setting a pile of paperwork she had brought back to look over, in front of her.

Hannah jumped up. She brushed off her jeans and slowly entered. She waited for Tobias to come in, she was releived he had come

*Toby nodds and makes his way in with Hannah.*

[alanna]

"erm... professer......" Hannah didnt know where to begin, how to explain. she could have just told why she went at night before, she didnt, it was so hard to explain> her purple eyes were down as she started again "we are sorry for going into the library after hours"

Hannah waited for the professer to do something

Looks at them both and sighs a bit, "Why were you both in the library after hours. You both know the rules very well."

Hannah sighed "i prefer it at night. during the day i can feel peoples confusion,i can feel their headaches and i can feel their with to be left alone when all they want to do is read and somone insists on talking to them"

[tobiasthomas]

*Tobias kicked at the floor, looking at his untied shoes.*

"I was actually in the library before it was after hours, I kinda fell asleep looking up some information.."

[alanna]

"i found him and woke him up. its my fault actually. i told him id help him finish what he started."

[tobiasthomas]

*Tobias looked at Hannah..*

I would have stayed anyway, I need to figure things out..

*His bravery faded.. *

*he said softly falling into a chair.. *

[Julia Thorne]

"I would let you off easily but Professor Drubsky insists on me that I should stop being soft on my students as I always am." Rubs the bridge of her nose, gets up from her chair and starts pacing in her office. "I still have one question. Why didn't you owl me from the library or slipped a note and tried sending it to my office. But most important of all, there is something there called an alarm. It notifies any of your head of houses when you sound it, to their office notifying that someone needs assistance or just plain is stuck there. And I still don't get how the librarian didn't find you in the first place while you were sleeping. That makes no sense."

*Tobias shrugged, and smiled weakly*

"I dont know.. I was studying hard.. I must have been throught a hundred books fefore i fell asleep.. I was lucky Hannah found me when she did.. i left my lamp burning.. it could have burned down the library.*

*Feeling worse he shut up there*

Stops pacing around and looks at him. "I believe you but the librarian picks up after all of the students that have been there. Especially with that books as she wants then back where they were taken from. It still doesn't explain why she didn't find you. But don't worry about the library, I'm sure a house elf turned it off before anything happened."

*Tobias nodded, and looked at his hands. He was messing with a button on his robes.*

"Im still very sorry Professor, I just needed to figure out what a Necron is.. or was.. *he shrugged* it was important enough to stay after hours.. and just as stupid i guess."

*He took off his beenie showing his greying hair.. However he did not know how grey it had become*

[Julia Thorne]

Sighs, "Well I'm afraid that you both will have detention with me for three days starting December 17th. You'll be helping me clean my classroom which is messy enough. Hannah, I still haven't your side of the story so you will have to tell me later." Walks over to her desk and opens a file showing a gruesome picture. Flips it over and her eyes scan the next sheet of paper. "Tobias, I do need to talk to you about something else. Come back over to my office and we'll talk after detention. I will take you back to the common room before you're caught again but Hannah, you're going to have to tell me your side on Saturday evening right before detention. You're both excused. Make your way to the common room and do not go anywhere else. Just straight there. Understand?"
