Alright, St. Mungo's has been incorporated into a Muggle Walk-In Clinic. So, the operations of St. Mungo's are a little different. There are only two ways into the hospital: walking in through the clinic or apparating. Apparition is one-way only and that's to get in, unless you have the permission of a mediwizard to apparate out. This is a safety precaution in case of any attacks since St. Mungo's is always a target and it's a way to get those that have odd wounds to get access to the hospital without arousing suspicion.
So, at the back of the muggle portion of the clinic, there is a "supply closet" that leads to the magical portion of the first floor. This is where the waiting room is and you sign yourself in if you have an appointment. Creature Injuries are also taken care of in this portion of the floor. Now, the "supply closet" has muggle repelling and obscurement charms on it so that the muggles won't notice people entering the "closet". The magical portion of the floor also has the building's one elevator. It can only be operated by inserting one's wand into the slot for the floor you want to go to.
