Can I say that there's something wrong with this place?
The what? he thought to himself as he walked along the streets of whatever the town was called. Ollie did not know where exactly he was going. All he knew was there was this place, some shack that is apparently 'haunted'. Oliver would check it out. The place that is, just to see if it is really haunted.
The school was not too far from the village but Ollie hadn't been there. He knew that he should go there place because that's where he would stay and all but he is more interested in what's in store for him at the little shack thing. He would be exploring around. That would be fun. Hopefully he wouldn't need to say anything to anyone once he gets there.
The shack, which people call ' The Shrieking Shack' is a big place. And it does look haunted too. The walls were old and it seems like it could break down easily. That is just the outside. The inside is almost the same as the outside, but more ruined. He wondered who even visits a place like this besides him and the person that he had heard talk about it? How about James? Had he been here before? That was something that he could not answer.
Oliver looked around him before finally stepping inside some random room. The question in his head was who or what would be there? What would he find? Hopefully there wouldn't be any of those teachers or whatever roaming around trying to find kids and get them in trouble.
Lost. One small simple word which is actually a huge problem. The school was visible from where the figure stood but how to get back to it.. They could not figure out. Plus she had overheard someone talking about 'Hogmeat' or something like that being the name of the town. Sighing the figure pulled their large black NAVY sweatshirt closer to her body, the cool breeze sending an unpleasant chill down her spine.
"Maybe its not such a good idea to follow directions of older years..." Munelisa Vincine muttered to herself, her feet carrying her along a path. A path that hopefully led her back to the school. Skater shoes that were too big for the Mihael's feet trudged noisily along the path, until the girl came to a complete stop.
"Uh..." Munelisa had finally looked up from her feet and noticed that she was even more lost then before, the closest thing around was an old run down shack. Reaching up a small cold hand the thirteen year old tugged nervously on a clump of her long brown hair, she glanced around for the path which she had come from... But no longer could see it. Frowning the young girl stared at the old building, maybe someone still lived there and would be able to give her proper directions.
Munelisa's eyes widened when she thought she saw a shadow in one of the windows. With a little bit of hope the girl took quickened steps to wards the building, coming up to the door she lifted her hand to knock on the door. Her knuckles only had to brush the old door and the hinge creaked open. Raising an eyebrow the Mihael girl ventured into the hall behind the door, closing it behind her. She listened for any more movements, finding the place slightly eerie.

He thought that he heard a noise coming from the direction he had come from but there was no one around, Ollie was sure. No one seem to like going to this old abandoned place and the last time he checked, there was no figure heading for the direction of the shack.
Ollie shook his head and continued to look around the room. Maybe he should just check out the things in the place, see old things and figure out who might have lived at this old place. Maybe somehow he could find old pictures of the owner of the place. Just maybe.
Of course Ollie knew that the easiest way to find information about the shack is to ask some adult or the professors about it. The only this is, Ollie's too lazy for that and did you even think that Ollie is actually going to do that? Of course not. Why would he talk to a teacher to ask about a place called the 'Shrieking Shack' when the place look like something that most teachers wouldn't want their students to be in.
Rubbing chilled hands together, Mun glanced around for anyone who maybe lived in the run down house. Blinking a few times before starting down the hall, she felt that if she called out for who ever was home the roof would cave in. Coming to the first door the Mihael pushed it open, leaning in to look around. Her brown hair fell over her shoulder and hung loosely by itself, pushing it back over her shoulder before stepping into the room.
It was covered in dust, but the room seemed as if it was an old office. Crumbled pieces of paper rolled up all over the ground, the trash had over flowed and spilled onto the ground. Crouching down Munelisa picked up one of the crumpled papers, prying it open with her fingers.
The writing on the wrinkled paper wasn't legible to the girl, placing it on the ground flatting out the parchment. Picking it up once again to try and decipher the unreadable code.
"She... can't... Problems.. Family... magic...?" Munelisa said the words out loud to herself, only the words that she was able to figure out. Raising an eyebrow the first year picked up some more of the crumpled paper, straighting it out as she went. Maybe the writings were someone's journal.. or a story. Kneeling on the wooden floor with wrinkled papers spread around her.

Ollie started walking around the place, looking through series of papers that were scattered around the room. The room did not look like an office. It looked like some bedroom someone had except it does not have anything in it but the shelves that was once used as a drawer and a table containing papers of something.
The markings of where a bed would have been is located in the middle of the room. The room was full of webs but it was not webby enough to keep people away from it.
Ollie headed for the drawers first. He knew that there wouldn't be anything there that he would need but still he looked. People tend to hide some of their things on their drawer right>? Maybe a pendant or something that would help Ollie figure out more about the owners?
When Ollie opened the first drawer, he found it empty. The boy began opening the other drawers but found nothing there, nothing that would help him at all. Ollie started to walk away when he notice something odd about one of the drawers and he looked at it curiously before he started looking for any hidden openings. In the end, he found none but Ollie put made a markings that he should investigate the drawer later on. Maybe there is something there but Ollie just couldn't open it.
About twenty or so pieces of parchment was lined across the floor, Munelisa had put them in the order she thought that they would go in. There were little numbers at the bottom of the page, but some of the ink had gotten wet or smudged making the writing so much harder to read. Pushing off the ground she looked down at the papers, her eyes gliding up and down the line.
"Strange.." Munelisa said to herself, it wasn't unusual for the girl to talk aloud to herself. "It seems like the author had to finish in a rush... but never did." She looked at the last page it had stopped mid-sentence in the middle of the page. Stepping over the line of paper, she began to explore the rest of the room.
Near the trash that had overflowed there was a faded square on the wall, something had once hung there. Placing a hand on the rim of the bin she pulled it away from the wall, the metal against the wood made a soft screeching sound and left imprints in the floor.
Broken behind the trash bin was a picture frame, glass scattered and the picture that used to be in the frame laying face down. Pushing the glass aside, cutting her finger on a sharp end of a piece, Munelisa picked up the picture. A man stood there smiling, flicking his hair back a few times to get it to stay. Her bleeding index finger in her mouth as she examined the moving picture.

So what now? Ollie that it would be time now to just look through the papers he had found. If he could not do anything with the drawers for now, he would surely try to find it the next time he goes there and see if he could do anything to it.
The papers were old. That's all Ollie could say. The paper were wrinkly and fragile and carefully did the young boy picked it up. He wouldn't want it to get ruined. He wouldn't' want it to be destroyed for it was not his. he was just there to explore and find information.
When it seems as though he wouldn't be able to find anything out from the paper, Ollie put the papers down carefully and took a long look around the room. Maybe he is looking at the wrong places. Maybe what he needed is someplace else.
The Mihael boy started walking when he was sure that he had heard screeching coming from something outside. Not outside the shack but outside the room. But where did it come from exactly and who had made the noise?
The boy knew that the noise couldn't be because whatever it was had fallen down. It couldn't be because what he would have heard is a BOOM! sound not something that would make you want to cover your ears for.
Ollie quickly walked out the room and started searching the halls outside. The noise could have come from anywhere in the building. It could be from the room, it could be from the halls but whoever it was, Ollie was sure that he would be able to find them. But the question remains; what the heck where they doing here? And what is that screeching noise?
The picture was old and torn so handling it carefully she placed it on the small desk near the trash that she had pulled out from the wall. One hand still resting on the photo Munelisa checked over the other items that rested on the table. A well used quill, spilled ink bottle, and many books that were in some other language. Bending over slightly she blew on the table top, dust spinning back up into the air.
Munelisa sneezed as some dust went up her nose, rubbing her nose slightly afterwords. Her nose twitched as if she was about to sneeze again, but she tried hard to keep it as she looked at the wooden desk top. She looked at a black carving in the old maple wood, running a finger over the carvings she attempted to pronounce the words.
"Must be Latin or something..." She mumbled before straightening up and pulling her bleeding finger from her mouth. Munelisa glared at it for a few moments before the cut began to spill blood again, the young girl stuck her finger back in her mouth.
Thinking she heard a soft step, Mun glanced up behind her at the partially closed door. Perhaps the owner was home now, rubbing the back of her neck nervously she kept her gaze on the door. Listening for anymore movement.

Ollie didn't know where to go. That was the problem. There were many rooms in the shrieking shack and he knew that it would take time to find whoever it was that made the noise. It could be anyone he knew, but is it someone he knew? Most likely not.
Ollie looked from his left to his right. Now, if only he could remember where the noise had come from. If the person repeated the same act over and over, that would help Ollie find them but would they really do it? Probably not since why would someone repeat doing something if that someone may not have wanted to be found?
Again, Ollie looked around and he heard a soft sound coming from a room nearby. It sounded like a sneeze maybe or is it just something else? From what Oliver had heard, the noise that had caused the screeching would most likely come from the owner of the sneeze.
Quickly, the young boy hurried and found a door. But it wasn't like the other doors. This door was where, he is sure, the noise had come from. The door is slightly open, unlike the other doors and the young boy pushed open the door and found a girl standing, looking at the door (?).
Oliver does not know the girl. He had never met her in his entirely life and he wonder what she's doing there. Was she waiting for someone to arrive, since she was looking, it seems, at the door when he had entered. And who is she? Did she create the noise?
When she saw the door start to open, Munelisa brought her clasped hands to her chest. Slightly afraid of who would be behind the door, but even more curious to see who would live in a place such as this. Maybe it would be someone of old age who would chase her out of the house with a broom, yelling a lecture after her on how not to just walk into another's house. With that thought Mun let out a little noise, she really should have thought twice about entering the house without being invited.
The old aged house owner was surprisingly young, he looked about her own age. Munelisa blinked and stared at him, the strange silence as they both stood there. Lowering her hands from her chest the Mihael decided to speak.
"Uh.. Do you live here?" She asked the boy, she didn't think she had seen him around the school, if he went to Hogwarts. So if he didn't go to Hogwarts then what was he doing here.. Looking him over one last time Munelisa confirmed that she had not seen this guy ever in her life, so in her mind that meant he did not go to the same school as her. Of this she was sure.

Ollie waited for the girl to say something. Anything at all. An introduction? Some random comment about something. Or tell him something she knew about the house. But again, he does not know her and she knew him not. The girl, he assume, would not just talk to him out of random about something or another. Probably she would say 'my name is ... ' and so forth but nothing else out of the 'ordinary' first meeting conversations.
What the girl had said to him, the first sentence that she had heard her speak of was rather amusing. "Uh.. Do you live here?" That was interesting and it would have been weird if Ollie actually does live in a house like this. It would be too ruined for him to live in but it could be fixed. The idea though, of him being the actual owner of the house, when he was sure that no one in particular owns this house [or so that's what he had heard. Or were they just someplace else at the moment and just abandoned the poor house?] was funny.
The boy laughed then shook his head but it was not the laugh meaning 'how could you think that' in a mean way. It was just funny and he hoped that the girl would not think that he's making fun of her. He himself wouldn't know the owner of this house and he does not think that anyone lives there anymore, from the looks of it.
"Oh..." Was all that the thirteen year old said. How silly it was of her to think that this boy was the owner, now he was even laughing at her. Munelisa realized it wasn't in a mean way, but it still made her feel like an idiot. She looked away from the other and glanced around the room looking for something else to do. Something to regain her confidence that had slid a little.
Sticking her small hands in the large pockets of her black sweatshirt, they seemed to disappear. Munelisa shifted her weight from one foot to the other when she heard the floor board below her crack. She almost toppled over but caught herself on the table. Jumping from the spot she looked down at the floor then over to the boy to see if he had noticed.
Bending down she looked at the crack in the wood, pulling out one of her hands from the pocket she began to push at it. Maybe there was something below the floor of interest. Munelisa pushed and pried at the rotten wood, but nothing resulted in the effort.
"I think I see something.." Mun said to herself out loud as she was leaning into the crack and peering inside.

Ollie continued to laugh and looked at the girls face and saw the hurt in it. He stopped. Wait, did she think that's he's insulting her. No, no he wasn't. It was a joke. The question was funny so he laughed. He did not make fun of her and had no intention of it when he had laughed, yet he guess the girl had not seen it as a joke.
One moment she is confused, now she was not? As quickly as the transition from Ollie's face, the same thing happened to the girl's. So now she understood? Good then. Ollie gave the girl a weak smile. It was awkward he guess. They have too quick expression change. Is that even a good thing? Or not. Hopefully that is alright.
Ollie looked around the room for a while and when he look back at the girl, she was on the floor, searching for something. Did she drop a bracelet or a necklace maybe and is she looking for it? Odd isn't it? Well, in the beginning she was just asking if he was the owner of the house, now she's on the floor looking for something? How odd.
"I think I see something.." Ollie knelt down and tilted his head and gave her a quizzical look before looking through the crack, even though it was hard to see. What would it be? Her bracelet? Or maybe it was not since earlier as he was looking around he heard her jumping. Hmm...what would be under the floor?
The Mihael took out his wand and pointed at the floor. He didn't want to blind the girl by just casting a spell so he just took it out and pointed at the crack. He wanted her to move a little or at least cover her eyes for he would be using lumos so they could see.
[ OOC: No I don't think emotions changing that fast is a good thing. XD Ah well. ]
Eye's squinting at the dark crack, Munelisa did not notice the boy kneel down near her. She was so concentrated on finding out what was under the floorboard, maybe it was a clue to the owner of the house or the man in the picture she had found earlier before the boy had entered the room. Munelisa looked over to the desk where she had placed the photo, that was when she noticed that the boy was kneeling there.
"Ah!" She jumped slightly when she saw him there, not expecting it. Quickly she placed her hand over her mouth and shook her head slightly, trying to convince herself that she had not just been frightened by the boys sudden appearance. Lucky for her, he had been looking trough the crack when she jumped. Letting out a sigh of relief, Munelisa placed her hands on the ground and looked at the crack again. Nibbling at her lip slightly with her teeth.
Seeing the wand pointed at the wood, and the boys glance at her, she nodded. Pushing back so that he could cast the spell without her interference, Munelisa placed her hands on her knees and stared at the tip of the wand, she didn't know many spells so naturally she was curious about what spell he was going to cast. Maybe she would even be able to try it herself sometime in her room, with a glass of water by her side just in case anything caught on fire again.

|| OOC: Eh. It was a weird moment/introduction without the 'how are you' stuff... xP ||
Ollie continued to look down at the crack. What might be hidden under the crack is definitely hard to see and Ollie didn't know for sure how they would be able to get whatever that was under the crack. Is it alright for them to just destroy the floor to get whatever it was under? Then again, the house is somewhat ruined already. Hopefully no one would mind the small...hole on the floor.
Ollie looked at the girl as she then yelled. "Ah!" Ollie yelled, not sure what it was for. She screamed and then he screamed. Ollie felt odd screaming for no reason. Did she see something frightening in the dark hole or was it just something else. What's odd also is the fact that the first thing that the girl had heard him say was 'ah'. Nice impression Ollie, he thought to himself as he looked at her with a curious look.
The girl saw the wand on his head and nodded. Ollie had almost forgotten about that, now he remembered. He nodded at her before pointing the wand to the hole and whispering "Lumos" that is could barely be heard.
Oliver convered his eyes from the bright light and peeked at the hole. He could see something. A box?
Poetically Pathetic
