raaaarh *smack smack* went the sound of a very sleep Tim gettnig up. he yawned loudly, smacked his lips a bit and sat up out of his sleeping bag. The light sound of birds starting to chirp he figured had woken him up. It was about 8:00 in the morning.

-10 minutes go by in getting dressed and brushing teeth and getting fire restarted-

After getting some water boiling over the fire Tim pulled on his hiking boots which he had been given for a christmas present ;D, stretched a bit, and started going for a jog along the large lake next to the castle ruins.

He planned on exploring the ruins some after he went for his morning jog and after eating some breakfast back at his camp site.

((Let's just say that Lauren was a little curious the night before, okay? ))

Every day, you happen to learn something new about the world and the people who inhabit it. Other days, however, well... You just might get an eyeful and possibly an earful as well. Lauren knew this from her childhood, growing up under extreme conditions while her parents treated themselves to everything under the sun. This made her personal life a living hell, but she took what she learned and used it to her advantage, finally getting away from the torment and pressure of being mistreated. Where did that find her? At the moment, under some strange looking tree on the other side of the lake, not knowing where the heck she was.

Of course, this was only the first day she had set foot onto these grounds. And she had already managed to stray away from the group of explorers she had been tagging along with. I've gotten myself into a heap of trouble, she thought, waking up to the sound of the branches rubbing against each other with the wind's help. Where's the rest of the group when you need them? She stirred against the base of the tree, but the tree had other plans, almost like it had a mind of its own. Soon, one of the larger branches made a beeline for Lauren's head. She screamed and darted from the tree, still uncertain as to why she had ended up in this spot last night.

She ran as fast as she could, panting with each step she took, running further and further from the tree. It wasn't long, however, until she spotted other members of her group waking up for the day. "Oh, my God," Lauren said, spotting Tim getting ready for what looked like either a hike or a jog. "Look, I don't know what you did last night, but I encountered something wicked strange already. I almost got attacked by some tree."

Listening to Lauren, Tim nodded, and stared at her when she stated she was attacked by some tree. "You can a tree attack you?" he muttered, thinking she lost it, "Okay, I'll go look a bit farther, you take your temperture. And some B14 to make sure you don't have a parasite," Tim spoke seriously, more as a command.

Wandering off out of the woods, where the trees grew thinner, an old hut, seemed like it was abandoned for years, then, in the distance a castle caught his eye. It was huge, next to the lake, or that the lake was surronding it.

Turning around, trying to see an odd tree, he saw one brach sway low and knock a bird down. "Okay, it has a logical explaination..." Tim Norrington didn't pay much more attention to the tree.

The castle, he walked closer to, yelling back, "Lauren! You have to see these ruins!" his voice echoed. back toward the direction he came. He ventured forth, toward the castle, finding a path, he used it to walk up to the entrence.

The castle looked old, destroyed, abandoned. He wondered the history behind it. The main door seemed to be changing from a gray to a shiny brown. Shaking his head and rubbing his eyes, it was shiny brown. Jumping back, he backed up several meters.

The castle was coming to life, his heart begun to race, "LAUREN!" he shouted lounder then before. Lights in the castle lit up, the castle's color changed, from a crumbled old dusty place, to a place that was occupied, as it would've been centuries before.

Barely able to speak, he tried to shout for Lauren again, but cannot. "We have to get in," he muttered under his breath, half choking on his words. Turning around, running back to their campsite, he had to get Lauren, maybe she wasn't lying after all. Glancing back, he saw a small group of young humans walking into the castle from a field, with broomsticks. Maybe I got this thing now too, What ever it was, Tim was greatly confused and shocked, his heart continued to pound.

Making it back to the campsite, he was still freaked out about what happened. Shaking, he scurried around to find the Satelitte phone. Remember it was in Lauren's stuff, he walked over to her hiker's pack, and starting taking things out, finally he reached the satelitte phone.

Picking up the satelitte phone, he dialed a sequence of numbers, "Can you get me the Prime Minister please?" he asked. He just realized he completely ignored the other explorer, shrugging his shoulders, she'll get over it.

"Minister, you have to get somebody out here. The castle, in the vasts of Scotland is coming alive. There is an attacking tree as well. Please Minisiter, this isn't a joke."

Jasmyn picked up the phone when it rang, "Mini-" she was cut off, somebody started speaking rantling. 'Minister, you have to get somebody out here...', In the vasts of Scotland? Interesting, hidden away from their Ministry, these magical people, Jasmyn thought. "Thank you sir, I'll send somebody down,"

Hanging up the phone she picked it up again, "Get me the HQ now," waiting a moment. She was still on the line. Francily, taking a seat at her desk, she changed her phone to speaker phone, and listened for a reply. Sighing, she jotted down a note, Talk to Parliment about more funding for the military.

Finally, she got through, "Yes, this is the Prime Minister. Minister Jasmyn Lyudmil Jamilihah on the line. I want a team sent to Scotland, and the coordients of the last satelitte phone used in Scotland, roughly around, five minutes ago needs to be tracked. I am going along with the team. Send a blackhawk to get me, and make sure your team is will equiped for any situation." Jasmyn spoke calmly as possible. What was the explorer so frantic about.

Lauren followed Tim's instructions and sat down alongside of a riproaring fire. She was still a bit shellshocked from what she had encountered. Seriously, if anyone got attacked by a tree with a mind of its own, you'd be having nightmares for the rest of the year. But in all due respect, Lauren just knew she had to relax. She took her temperature just for precautions, and was relieved to see that she wasn't coming down with anything serious. Maybe this was all just a dream and she hadn't woken up yet?

Just then, she could hear Tim calling for her. He ran back to her side and mentioned something about finding ruins. Actually, there was more to this than meets the eye. The castle was coming to life? That's something you don't see everyday, that's for sure. Chills ran down Lauren's spine as she spoke up. "You're telling me that there's a castle coming to life? We need to go check that thing out." She jumped up from her seat and glanced one of those looks at Tim. They needed to go check the castle out. "Are we going or not?"

Captain Gregory Paris dropped his desk phone with a loud clack, frowning his definitive brow over cynical dark eyes. A mysteriously appearing castle in Scotland that a group of hikers happened upon? Sounded pretty far-fetched to him. Sounded, actually, pretty ridiculous. But orders were orders - and coming straight from the Minister herself, they weren't to be ignored.

But Scotland wasn't small.

The phone was picked back up, a speed-dial number pressed, and a crackling connection made. "Johnson, get my team together; they need to be ready in ten minutes, on helopad B. I want backup at a moment's notice - no lag. I need you to prepare the EH101 for lift in ten." He glanced around his office, shrewdly pressing his lips together as he grabbed his rifle standard from the eyehooks. "No. Tracking equipment. Get Larson into the satellites. We need the location of the last cellular call on their record." There was a murmur of assent, and the line clicked off.

Cpt. Paris shoved open his door, passing through the crowded hallways of his base. The striking, quick pace led him in nearly no time to the artillery. Routinely pulling on his bullet-proof vest, sliding on and buckling his belt filled with a menagerie of interesting emergency weapons, and grabbing his heli-helmet [as the recruits fondly called it], Paris was soon out on Helipad B, ready to check his numbers.

Larson handed him a paper, the large blades slicing through the air above their heads causing him to duck marginally. "57 23' North, 2 16'W." Paris's dark eyes scanned it, before he nodded, pulling himself up into the large EH101. His team saluted him, he nodded, and picked up his radio. The door slid shut, and they rose. Within minutes, they'd be within immediate range of their destination.

"Connection. Prime Minister Jamilihah." A crackle and a beep. "Minister. We have an exact location. Is this a rescue or an investigation?"

Gruff, hard; Paris's way. He had never believed in magic, until he'd witnessed the dragon in the Underground. Since then, people had denied that it had ever happened. Even those of his crew who had been with him, on call, said that they didn't remember it at all. It made Captain Paris very wary of this mission, the dark stubble on his chin shifting with the pursing and unpursing of his lips. He had taken a week off after that, afraid he was losing his touch. He couldn't be insane, if the Minister was sending him after a mysteriously-appearing castle.

It was a wait, Jasmyn cancelled all of her meetings for the day. Told her secretery only direct calls only will be accepted on her office line. Her phone rang, before it finished the first sequence of rings, she picked it up immeditly. "Minister Jamilihah," she spoke. Minister we have an exact location... she head the words being spoken. "Let's consider this a bit of both. Rescue for the hikers, and investigation for the sights they reported. I seen strange things in my life time, I want the area combed through, and this so called castle explored," Jasmyn spoke with power.

Not hanging up the phone, she waited until the helicopter got to her location. "Any minute now," She spoke from her office in London, switching the phone to speaker.

Combed through. Paris almost laughed. That location, going off of memory, was almost completely forestation and wilderness. Twenty men, one Commander, and one Prime Minister would not be able to comb through that many miles of wilderness without losing lives or losing communication. "Over." He checked his watch, any minute now.

He really did laugh this time, carefree and surprised, his 30-something youth shining through the hard nature of a leader as his thoughts were echoed. "Patience, Minister." He glanced out of the helicopter, seeing the streets of London pass under them. "I'd suggest making your way to your helipad. We should be there within the minute. This being considered an emergency, I'd also suggest you be prepared to board directly upon landing."

He hoped to God the woman wasn't wearing some sort of long shapeless gray skirt that would make it hideously difficult to maneuver in. He could do without the added duty of keeping her from falling over herself. They were going into straight forest. No cities he knew of were anywhere near 57 23'/2 16'. As the helicopter started its decent, he leaned over and grabbed the rifle he'd prepared.

He decided that perhaps the Minister would like a bit of self-defense.

Prime Minister Jasmyn was sure of what she said. She wanted the entire area looked over. She is aware of what it is as they were flying toward it, but she still knew they had to go to the center. A sudden urge to turn back appeared in her, but remembing she cancelled all of her appointments. Jasmyn listened, and nodded her head, "Yes, I'll be ready. I'll go to the helipad now. My secretery cancelled everything I have for the evening."

The minister raced to the helipad, once it landed, she boarded. "There is a reason I wanted to go. Something has been up all over England, something I am not at liberty to mention, as it is something I found out three years ago, my first night as Prime Minister. I had a hench this event is related to it. Over years people been reported going toward the location, before they got there they usually turned back, or saw nothing but very old ruins, but it amazed me why archologists never went."
