Open the skies over me,
I'll wait for a sign.
She looked more like the abominable snowman than an actual human being. The way she had wrapped herself under so many layers of clothing, it was just ridiculous. At least that what she kept telling herself when she had to walk all the way to her old school. That old school what still after so many years, decades and centuries it had stood in its rightful place and it would be forever and after. At least that what Tidane thought.
It had been many years since her last visit to the school and her schooling memories were rather..Blur. What she remembered was the grand balls and that cheery encouragement smiles her friends use to give her if they had a tricky transfiguration test. The old castle even smelled the same when Tidane walked in and shook the snow off from her head, shoulders and jacket. Her jacket had been brown when she left from her flat.
The Christmas decorations hadn't yet taken away and Tidane only had to guess what kind of a thrill it was to stay in Hogwarts for the christmas. She had done it couple times herself. But this year, the Drubsky family had taken the whole clan down to Italy. And oh how much Tidane had enjoyed it. Italy had been her dream country to visit when she was a little girl. She adored all the little details that different chapels hid inside. Every painting and fresco was so beautifully made. Every breath she took in Italy had a healing effect. Her favorite place above all was the Castel Sant'Angelo. There was no words to describe the beauty of it.
As Tidane started to take off her layers of clothes and at the same time trying to make her way around the long and tricky hallways.
And of course, out of practice, Tidane instantly got lost. She was supposed to surprise Queety and drag her away from her papers so they could go for a coffee or something. And since it was christmas, that was a perfect excuse for Tidane to actually set her foot on the Hogwarts grounds. She had been wanting to visit whenever she heard Queets was working there.
But everyone knew when things got too ridiculous to even try anything, might as well just give up. And this was exactly Tidane's thoughts when she realized she was more than just utterly lost — now you would call it completely and ridiculously lost. Tidane huffed moving her front hair a bit and frowned. How could this happen in the first place? She use to be so good at this. Good at going around in this great big castle with Johnny or with Tristam. These days, she just made her way from work back to her flat. Tidane Drubsky sighed and started to give up. Fine, she would wait here, if there was even one good soul who would take her to Queety's office.
Her eyes traveled to both of her sides.
It was dead quiet.
