World of Literature
Course Description: This is a course reviewing the literature of the World and the people who made it, from the earliest days to the present. Learning about the different literary works from poems, short stories, novels, and etc.
Course Requirements: There are no educational requirements other than a high reading level. This course is an overview of World Literature. You will be required to read some works, but the material will be provided to you every class period.
Course Goals: Learn about the writers who laid the foundation for World Literature as well as an indepth perception into reading assignments.
Grading Policy: The course is divided into 4 lessons. At the beginning of term, I will be giving you a reading list. Make sure to have these read by each class period because we will be discussing them during class. Then as a reminder, at the end of each lesson the next reading assignment will be given, maybe a homework assignment. Course material will be provided. At the beginning of each lesson assignments are due. There are points for attendance, assignments such as journal entries and essays (if assigned), class participation, quizzes, and exams. A percentage grade will be given based on overall points.All Years (1st - 7th years) : World of Literature

November 12th :: F. Scott Fitzgerald, "Winter Dreams."
November 29th :: Turn in Homework and Quiz
December 1st :: Edith Wharton, "Roman Fever"
December 17th :: Midterm
December 22nd :: Robert Frost, "Mending Wall", "Home Burial", and "The Road Not Taken".
January 7th :: Turn in Homework, Review for Final Exam.
January 15th :: Final Exam
