Carina sighed just a little as she finally saw the door to the apothecary. It was about time. She had finally had made it back to work nearly a week after she had found herself in the park with no memory what so ever. Her job and name were only known because of items found in her bag when she had come to. But apparently, her being gone did not stop the school or someone there from using her stores.
She had found, thankfully, that despite her memory being long gone that potions were apparently considered a skill and therefor something she could remember. Good for that because she thought that if she hadn't had the potions to work on, she would have gone crazy just sitting around trying to remember something.
Cuts and bruises still marred her face and body, just now beginning to heal. Carina felt better than she looked at the moment, which was good since she looked like hell. At least the tellers at Gringotts had been trained well ehough not to stare at her. She had gone by to check to see if she had an account. Finding that she had a personal account and a family vault that was all hers had been a plesant surprise.
So, with her pockets filled with money, Carina crossed the street and pushed through the door to the shop. As soon as she entered, Carina closed her eyes and smiled. There was a scent in the store that was so familiar and welcoming. Even though Carina's mind didn't remember it her body apparently did as the smile grew wider and warmth spread through her body. It seemed all stores like this had their own scent, she just wasn't sure what it was about this one.
With a grin still on her face, Carina pulled her extensive list from the back pocket of her jeans and began to shop.
