She didn't want to be here. Ivy hated it here, it was place of dread, pain, tears, blood, horrible horrible memories. The very smell of the place gave her goose bumps which ran down her neck and spine making her shiver uncomfortably. Did she really have to be here? Her chest heaved rapidly up and down, sweat beads formed upon her forehead and was convinced she was about to be sick.

Ivy had regular counselling appointments to attend at the hospital, she refused to be seen by any more doctors and was barely convinced to see this one. She was perfectly fine which was a lie, she didn't need any more medicine another lie she needed her life back and to forget about what she'd been through the past year. That was never going to happen, she was part of a large investigation and if it wasn't for the fact that she pleaded insanity to her crimes Ivy would probably be locked up on Azkaban.

Unable to continue on, Ivy took sat down on the closest chair. Her breath was light. The room was spinning and she wanted to cry. Surrounded by people and yet feeling so alone, Ivy takes a deep breath and tried to steady herself. There was no way she was walking into the counsellors office alone.. or at all.

Jackie never used to be a hospital kind of girl. Growing up with lyncanthropy, she had poor memories of being rushed into Mungo's after each full moon but gradually, as the wolfsbane potions developed further, Jackie grew to appreciate this building. It was because the staff here treated her so well over the years that Jackie knew working at Mungo's was her new calling, her new career path. Only having been here a few days, Sarah showed her the ropes but a test with the higher staff of the hospital verified that her spell work was far from rusty and that she could now start working with patients.

Jackie is all smiles, wearing a light pink set of scrubs adorned with butterflies and flowers that probably made her the most girly mediwitch on the team but she was far from caring. Her hair is tied up in a neat ponytail and she has a clipboard in her hand while she heads toward the waiting room. She peers down at the top file to inspect what she'd be working with today and her eyebrows furrow as she takes in the name. Ivy Pattinson. It shouldn't have been so unusual to her to run into people from school. After all, the wizarding community was close knit and it was inevitable that someone would need to come in for a check up or some sort but as she reads the report on Ivy further, Jackie's smile turns into a frown. This wasn't how she wanted to reunite with old classmates by any means.

Putting on her best professional but comforting face ( she knew how much people detested being her and it was her job to make them feel welcome ) she pushes past the waiting room doors and peers around. "Ivy Pattinson?" She calls out, chewing on her bottom lip out of habit when she doesn't spot the familiar head of blonde hair right away. Bright eyes finally land on a figure near the window seating, and she smiles wider. "Ivy? Hi! Follow me, please." She leads the woman down a long hallway and past a couple of doors, finally coming to a spare room. Ushering her inside, Jackie pulls out a chair for herself, settling the clipboard in her lap, and gestures to the table in the center of the room for Ivy to sit on. Out of formality purposes, she recites her opening speech as the hospital requests per each patient. "So I'm Dr. Lupin and once you get settled over there, why don't you tell me what brings you here today?"

'CRUCIO! and she's back standing over a the bloodied body of her husband in Organic park. The night is air is fresh, all is quiet once more and Straw's limp frail figure covered in blood is only a few meters away. She smiles, she had done it. Everything was going to plan and Master would be proud. Hooded figure emerge from the bushes, she looks down at Erik, hateful words form on her lips as her brained screams....'

And she's back on the ward, covered in sweat with tears forming in the corner on her eyes and her name is being called. Ivy tries to make herself as small as possible. She keeps one hand on the wall to keep her balance, the other is wrapped safely around her stomach. She couldn't stand up. She wasn't volunteering herself, she couldn't relive those memories again. But the court order hung round her like a bad smell, if she left... she'd be condemning herself back into lock up.

A mediwitch she didn't recognise, she assumed the one who'd been calling her name, approached her. Ivy slowly rose to her feet and followed, a horrible the guilty weight of letting Erik and Dahlia down drove the woman to take those steps into the office. She sat down and didn't look at the witch.. "I don't know," she replied sounding like a teenager called into the principles office. "I get the letter and I show up," her eyes averting Jackie. "Your not the usual councillor, I didn't realise this would be a check up or anything, I wasn't told to bring in Dahlia," the simple words of her new daughter brought a new strength to Ivy. She did it all for her, nothing in this world seemed to matter so much unless Dahlia and Erik were there.

Not receiving a warm greeting, Jackie frowned, walking ahead of the woman into the check up room. Due to the awkward silence that followed her, she quickly scanned the clipboard in front of her that listed various problems and history regarding Mrs. Pattinson's 'illness.' Oh. Well... that did seem rather trivial. So when they do finally settle in the room and Ivy admits not knowing the cause of her appearance here, Jackie only frowns further. How did this woman, who had been victimized by dark forces and who was held on trial, not know a single thing about why she was here?

"No, I'm not the usual counselor but depending how well today's meeting goes, I may be. Your previous one has been transferred to another hospital in France, unfortunately." Clearing her throat, Jackie decides this wouldn't be a normal doctor's visit. So she pulls out a pen and note pad, dating the top of the page. "I understand why you didn't bring Dahlia today but I think it would be advantageous to your recovery that in our future meetings, you do so."

In many ways, Jackie felt awful for the woman. Here was someone around her own age, with a child and husband and despite her youth, she was so disoriented. She couldn't even imagine being in the same shoes as her. "Why don't we begin with what you know? What can you tell me you remember about the incident? Is it a vivid memory or maybe flashbacks?" She writes each question down as she asks it, interchangeably peering back up at Ivy to examine her expression and emotions. This she was good at. Having mind reading abilities, which she never tapped into at work for patient courtesy, she had a natural given talent at being able to read people.

Raw and numb. On the outside she may look fine, but if you were to take a detailed look inside you'd find how destroyed and unrepairable she was. Ivy was no stranger to faking how we really felt inside. She hated herself, her mind raped and assaulted. Ivy Pattinson was a walking tragedy who simple refused help unless it came with his hazel eyes and beautiful smile. They were the only thing to bring her back from the darkness and she believed were the only thing keeping her safe in the light.

Ivy stares at Jackie for a long time. She didn't know, she has no idea and was only on this case because Mindy wanted to go to France. How did she expect her to open up when she barely knew her or could fully understand what she had been through? So confident and all knowing, that's why Ivy hated hospitals. It was the doctors attitudes that drove her nuts. Looking at her like a specimen than a human being. She was convinced, if Jackie could, she'd hold out a long pole and simple poke her with it like child does when they find a dead animal.

"I'm standing above my husband... he's unconscious and covered in blood and I like it." she begins hoping to shock the mediwitch. "I can see my brother, he's also very still, lying meters away loosing too much blood." she pauses because its almost too much for her too, "I've done it, I hexed them, I'm the one who muttered the spells… and I'm proud of it... " she isn't proud of it but its a strange feeling she can't shake. The feeling of dreaming over comes her and she begins to shake. "And then i whisper, dangerous... evil...unforgivable words... I point my wand at his heart ... then nothing. I snap back and I'm covered in sweat and I'm shaking and I'm a mix of both ashamed and... happy. It's like I enjoyed it and that makes me want to be sick."

In fact as if timed, Ivy's guts swelled and she quickly reached for the waste paper bin and vomited into it. If she wanted to gross out the mediwitch then this was probably going to do it.

Jackie spent one night a month a completely different species. She was pretty sure whatever stunt this was that Mrs. Pattinson was trying to pull wasn't going to effect her. In fact, her jaw tightened, repulsed by the words coming from the woman's mouth, not even batting an eyelash as she poured the contents of her stomach into the waste paper basket. She normally wasn't so hard with her patients but for whatever reason she like today she needed to grow a backbone to get through this witch. "If you're going to do that, I'm going to ask that you kindly not spill on my floors, please. They've just been cleaned."

Lips pursing, the brunette spends a long, hard moment staring Ivy down. She scrutinized her from head to toe; taking taking in the body language and the way it changed throughout the course of the story. "I see." She writes down something else, crossing her legs in the mean time. "Do you remember who it was you were working for or did you have any recollection of your daughter when under this trance?" In some ways, while Jackie felt bad for Ivy, it was the baby most of all that Jackie pitied. No child in the world deserved a parent who couldn't make sense of themselves. She didn't blame Ivy for being captured and tortured, of course, but the woman was a wreck. This was going to be a long road to recovery.

Ivy's body takes on a serious of shakes and quivers, making Jackie watch quietly with worry. She only gets up to retrieve a cup of water for the woman, handing it to her once the shaking had subsided some. "Here you are. Deep breaths, Mrs. Pattinson. Deep breaths."

Head berried in the bucket..how ironic, Ivy spits and whips her mouth. Disgusting but she doesn't care. Her eyes find Jackie's and she's insulted by the witch's next comment. It seemed the floors were a bigger concern to her then Ivy's wellbeing. She never asked to be like this, she never wanted to hurt anyone and she definitely refused to believe that these session were helping her.

Ivy doesn't answer then next question. She stares down at her hands which are folded in her lap. The shaking is getting worse and she can feel another flash back coming. She wished they'd stop. Ivy takes the water handed to her and takes a sip. She's not impressed and can't seem to shake off Jackie's comment about watching the floor when she was clearly shaken and ill. Ivy's not in a good mood and finds herself prepared to be angry.


"I'm sorry, I can't do this," she stats calmly and stands. "Thanks for trying but today isn't good," Ivy takes another sip of the glass and places it on the bench. She turns to make for the door. Her heart is racing, she's struggling to see straight as flashing little black dots blur her vision. It's happening again... another flash back.. not now.. she's had enough. 'No more!'

Ivy reaches out and steadies herself against the door frame. She needed to get out of here.

Yes, she was being brutal but working with someone unwilling to cooperate and with someone who looked like she hardly wanted to be here in the first place was difficult to work with It didn't help when Ivy stands, shakily making her way to the door looking like she was ready to faint. Due to legality purposes, Jackie couldn't hold the woman here against her will, but she was going to try her best to keep her here for rest. Living at home and raising a baby while trying to cope with flashbacks and post traumatic stress wasn't going to help Mrs. Pattinson through her troubles anymore easily.

Jackie stands quickly, dropping the clipboard to her stool and catches Ivy by her elbows before she collapsed to the ground. "Mrs. Pattinson, I'm going to recommend you lay down. Shall I call your husband and have him come in? You're in no condition to be traveling by yourself right now." Jackie was especially worried if Ivy tried leaving the hospital and apparated that she'd split in two. That's how weak she looked all of a sudden. The mediwitch levitates the glass of water toward them, handing it once again to Mrs. Pattinson. "Here, have some more. You look flushed, m'am." Tough loving nurse or not, she couldn't stand seeing someone in a poor state and therefore was going to do what she could to make sure the blonde got some sleep and rest before they attempted talking to her again.

Jackie pokes her head out of the doorway to shout to the secretary on duty, "Please call Mr. Pattinson. We've got a bit of a situation on our hands in here." That being said, she carefully steadies Ivy, guiding her back toward the hospital bed, to sit down on. She could feel her trembling and it didn't feel like it was subsiding anytime soon.
