Ron felt guilty most days. Luna juggled running Hogsmeade and raising their herd of six children but Ron was away most of the day at quidditch practice and then his nights usually involved a game in some part of London. Unless they travelled which made it even more difficult on the family. On weekends he and Luna tried sending the kids out to watch the games so they had some kind of family time going but it was hard and his occupation made things sometimes rocky at him but his wife was the best!!
She never once guilted him or told him he was some git for following his dreams and all that other rubbish wives usually do. Luna had been different from the very beginning but he loved her for that. Luckily for Ron Quidditch season was wrapping up so that meant shorter nights at practice and earlier nights at home for some dinner with the family. Entering the burrow Ron leans his travel broom against the nook near the door in the kitchen and then hurries into the sitting room to inspect the clock to see where his crazy herd was. The backyard!!
So off he went. Stepping outside he spots his family and his grin seems to take up his whole face. A sea of red heads and brunettes littered the lawn and his wife --beautiful as ever-- was under their favorite tree reading a story to the children. Best. Wife. Ever. He approaches slowly and quietly so not to disturb the story for his kids but once he's close and he hears "the end" from Luna Ron pops out from behind the tree announcing, "Hey you crazy bunch. Daddy is home!"
