Name: Hermione Jane Granger Potter
Age: 27 currently. Born September 19, 1979.
House: I graduated from Gryffindor in 1997.
Wand Type: Ebony and willow. It's 12 1/4 inches long. It has a black handle and a white shaft. It's rather whippy, but good for all branches of magic. The core is a tail hair from a unicorn.
Wizarding Heritage: I'm a muggleborn.
Family: I technically have about 3 families right now, so let me explain.
The first family is the one that I was born into. I'm the only child of Daniel and Emma Granger. They're both muggles, and run their own dentist practice. Unfortunately, 5 years ago they were murdered by Lord Voldemort as an act of revenge against myself and my husband.
The next family I have is the one I married into. I married my best friend Harry James Potter almost 8 years ago, during the middle of the war, shortly after graduating Hogwarts. His mother and father were a witch and wizard: Lily and James Potter. Unfortunately, his parents were murdered when he was only a year old. Our first son James was murdered by dark wizards before he had a chance to be born. However, our second child, Michelle Potter, is a happy 3 month old baby girl.
My other family is the one that I was adopted into. Yes, I'm an honorary Weasley, so I don't need the red hair. My adoptive mother was Molly Weasley, though she was murdered in 2005. Arthur Weasley is my adoptive family, and the oldest Weasley surviving today. I have 5 older "brothers" named William, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George. Percy and Bill are married and the others are still enjoying the bachelor life. My other best friend, Ronald Bilius Weasley, would be like another brother to me. He's younger than me by a few months though. He is also married and already has 6 kids. I tell you he works fast, so do all the Weasleys. I also have one sister, named Ginverva Molly Weasley Malfoy. Her husband went missing a few years ago, so he's assumed dead. As I was adopted into this family like Harry, I've already got a ton of nieces and nephews to spoil.
Physical Description: I stand at an impressive, 5 foot, 9 inches tall. I have a medium build, with little fat as I've still kept up all my training that I started during the war when I was an auror. My bushy brown hair has finally settled down so that it normally falls into soft curls and ringlets down my back, but I occasionally charm it to be completely straight. My teeth are now normal sized, and I've won the Witches Weekly Best Smile Award, female award nearly as often as Harry has the male version. Though, I'm not sure if it's because my parents were dentists, Madam Pomfrey shrinking my teeth for me when I was younger, or just being married to Harry. Who can tell these days? My eyes vary in shade depending on my moods, though, only Harry has named all the shades they turn. Personally, I'll just say that they're brown with just the slightest kiss of gold, hence giving them the term golden brown. Unfortuanately, due to my injuries in the final battle with Voldemort, I must wear glasses now. I don't always wear them, but most of the time I do.
History: I've already given you a fair amount of history about myself, but I'll expand further upon it. I was born in 1979, at the height of Voldemort's first reign, luckily Harry defeated him about 22 months later. When I turned 11, and Hogwarts was still under it's traditional rules, I recieved my letter to attend Hogwarts. Of course, I was quite precocious and read everything I could on the subject before arriving on the train. On the train, I met two boys, Ron and Harry, but I didn't know they were going to be my friends. That happened later in the year when Harry and Ron saved me from the troll that Halloween; we've been inseperable since. I had many adventures throughout my 7 years at Hogwarts, but with all the books out on Harry's and mine life, I doubt I need to expand upon that further. I will tell you though, that I started seeing Harry near the end of our 6th year as the war was really starting to take off. I was made Head Girl in my 7th year, and surprisingly we had a rather quiet year, who were we to know that Voldemort would spend that whole year recruiting for a siege at Hogwarts. Anyways, it was at graduation that Harry proposed to me, and I accepted, of course. Harry, Ron, and I all went into Auror training immediately upon graduation, but we all lived at Grimmauld Place together, the house that Harry had inherited from his godfather. Because of Harry's training and knowledge, the three of us soon rose in the ranks to become some of the top fighters in the war. We went on the most dangerous missions and took out the most dangerous of the death eaters. Ron was the tactician, and I helped him think out the strategies. Harry was more pure magical power and back up. It was during the war that many of us got married as we didn't know how much longer we had to live. Harry and I married in 1999, right in the worst part of the war. We did get to have a brief respite from the war to celebrate our honeymoon, but only a couple of days. The very next year, tragedy struck in the form of Voldemort killing my parents, which was the last straw for me, and the war intensified greatly because of it, as I became ruthless in my pursuit of those practicing the dark arts. Ron's right, I'm scary when I'm angry. Maybe that's why the three of us were promoted to general status before the final battle. Finally, in 2001, we got our shot at Voldemort, the week before Harry's birthday. Honestly, I don't recall much of the battle as it really passed by in a blur. By that point, I had just gotten so used to death and destruction. Ron was the first of us to be felled on the field, no not dead, just knocked out. It was Harry and I that confronted Voldemort. I, unfortunately, proved to be more of a distraction than a help to Harry. Though, I will say that it was me that gave him the final push to kill Voldemort. Voldemort used some kind of nasty curse to first blind me, and then he hit me with an advanced cutting charm, which left a nice sized hole in the right side of my chest. I still have the scar from that one. It looked like I was dead, and from what I gather from Harry and other reports, there was a great surge of power from Harry upon my falling down, and looking dead. I won't even begin to describe the injuries Harry sustained. All I know, is that I woke up several days later in St. Mungo's. Apparently it was only because of Draco Malfoy that I was still alive, because with the spell damage that I had, I should have been dead. My eyes couldn't be healed completely though, which is why I require glasses most of the time, atleast I can still see. The other wound had more consequences however. I won't go into too many details, but it resulted in me being removed from my position as an auror and Harry's partner, and put on permanent leave status. We spent the next 3 years helping to rebuild different parts of the Wizarding World. I did my part as a researcher for Harry, since field work wasn't allowed anymore. Dumbledore finally assumed duties of minister of magic, and Harry was made head of the auror department. Ron retired from being an auror, and went on to become a professional quidditch player, much to the delight of his wife, Luna, who already had a few kids from him. In early 2004, I was approached with the subject of reopening Hogwarts as its Headmistress. Naturally, I accepted, and so far, the school is starting to perform really well. I've watched over multiple classes of new Hogwarts grads as the school continues to expand. We did have a problem with some muggles around the time that my daughter was born at the end of March 2007. Harry got promoted to Department Head of Magical Law Enforcement to spend more time with our daughter.
Special Powers: One of the cool classes we go to do was Wandless magic training when we were becoming aurors. Harry was the only one that passed, as only he had the full ability-even surpassing the instructor. I got close to passing, because I can do some minor wandless magic, but nothing too big, and there are consequences for me if I try to do it too long or too much.
I'm also an animagus. I won't reveal what form to you because that would just spoil the surprise, but Professor McGonagall trained all of us while we were still at Hogwarts, and before she died.
As for my knowledge of spells, and my magical capacity, I'll just leave you this one phrase: I'm not the most powerful witch of the century for nothing.
