Staring into the water ((Open to anyone))

[lloyd]

"Here let me." He said.

"You know, you don't haev to get me anything." He continued, as he put the neckalace on her.

Lloyd smiled. She looked beautiful with the necklace on, as if it was made for her to wear. Joyfulness overwhelmed him as he looked at her.

"Thank you. And I'll have to. I know. I'll buy something in Hogsmede tomorrow."

She smiled as her hand slid into his again. She traced the cool metal with her finger. "I'll be in the kitchens in the morning. Much less hectic than the Hall. Come find me if I'm not in the common room."

She took a paper star made by her 4-year-old sister from her pocket and looked at it. She smiled as she thought of the memory to go with it.

"But you can't go Ashleigh. I want you to stay."

"Ameia if I don't go I can't come back with a nice present for you. Okay?"

"Okay. I made this for you, so you don't forget me."

"I won't be able to. I goota go now. I'll write to you. I love you."

The train left.

She placed it safley back in her pocket and leant against Lloyd.

"Don't you just love the night?"

Lloyd smiled at the thought of her getting him something from Hogsmede.

"If that is what you want to do, I won't force you anyother way." He said. smiling.

It was dark out and the moon was shining brightly, brighter then any other night. His white eye glowed from the light of the moon, which made it almost very visible at night.

He inhaled the cool air and let it out in the form of a sigh.

Ashleigh squeezed his hand tightly.

"It'll probably end up being a hot chocolate from somwhere if it's cold." she grinned.

The moonlight shone around them. Most of the students had disappeared now and they seemed to be the only ones around. It was quiet and not hectic and loud as usual.

As they walked by the lake she scooped a handful of water and tossed it at Lloyd, grinning.

The water got al over Lloyd's clothes. He looked down at his clothing, as he wiped off his clothes.

Then he grabbed a handful and tossed it at Ashleigh, chuckling.

"hey no fair!" she giggled as she ran away. "I'm a girl. I obsess about my looks dufus!"

She giggled and looked over the smooth clear water. "It's beautiful at night isn't it? Just like you."

She smiled and walked right up to the edge. The stars and moon reflected of the clear water and she could see herself, almost like a mirror.

He laughed at her comment, about obsessing voer her looks.

"Well, I'm a guy and I don't r eally care about how I look. You all I care, I coul,d go into the water, and take a swim...with my clothes on." He replied, with a slight chuckle.

The night was beautiful, no one was there, it was quiet, and all you could hear was the movement of the water, and their footsteps.

"Yes, I agree that the night is as beautiful as you." He said as he walked over, and stood next to her.

She smiled at his most recent comment and kissed his cheek. Then she grinned mischieviously and pushed him into the water, jumping in soon after.

Letting herself float slightly, she stared at the sky. She wondered if it got as crowded up there as it did here at Trio's.

She pulled of her now very wet button-up shirt and kissed Lloyd hard.

((I'm sorry but I could not resist pushing someone into the water! ;D))

Lloyd shivered emensly(sp?) as he floated in the water, and kissed Ashleigh. It was freezing, seeing that it is dark out, and the breeze was cold.

"Its...c..c...col...cold." He studdered.

"My and...c...c...cold don't mi...mix." He said, barely getting it out of his mouth.

"It's not that cold." Ashleigh said but nevertheless she pulled Lloyd to the dge and lifted herself out. Helping him get out she looked out at the ripples left in the water from their antics.

she out one finger into the water and swirled it around, leaving almost like a track.

"It was funny still." she smiled.

"We best get you a towel or a change of clothes or something." she said as she noticed him shivering violently.

A twisted smile came across Lloyds face. "Hmm...I wonder" He thought.

Lloyd started running around in circles. The wind would help dry himslef off even thogh the breeze was cold. He shivered violently as he ran on circles.

Ashleigh started laughing and almost fell back in the water.

"You know that won't help. I know. I tried." she managed to giggle out, grabbing the boy and seating him the ground. The shirt she'd pulled offwas pretty much dry from the wind so she pulled his wet one off and put her dry one on him. It was a guys shirt anyway. They didn't reall sell girl's shirts like that.

She thought about an old cardigan in her bag and pulled it out.

He smiled, while still shivering.

"...Thanks" He managed to get out.

All that running made him very dizzy, and he wanted to pass out. For a couple minutes he teetered inbetween fainting and consiousness, as he swayed in circles while he sat on the ground, extremely dizzy.

"It's okay." she said. She was worried. What have I done? I'm so stupid!

He was swaying now. He was dizzy. She sat herself in front of him.

"Lloyd? Look into my eyes. Focus there. Don't think about anything else."

Maybe if he could focus on one thing he would stop being dizzy.

[lloyd]

Lloyd eye lids fluttered at he tried to concentrate on Ashleigh. As he tried concentrating, his white eye began to glow. It became harder and harder to concentrate, but then something popped into his mind. It was an image of ashleigh, earlier that day. It was the moment where she first had the necklace on. Lloyg right then, poppd out of his subconsious state.

"Hi...Sweerheart." He said, smiling.

Ashleigh smiled. and then looked down.
"I'm sorry. "

Her clothes were drying off fast so she leant softly against Lloyd.

"I wasn't exactly sure what would happen when I pushed you in. I'm sorry."

She leant upand kissed his cheek. She stood up and took Lloyds hand.

Pulling him up she said, "Come on. We best go inside before we catch colds."

He looked down. He didn't know what would have happened either, but now he did.

"I'm sorry, but I am going to say no to the idea of going inside." He replied, softly. "I don't like it in there. I like i tout here, and I don't care if I get caught. I want to stay out." He continued.

He sat back down near the tree stump. It was another one of his mood changes. Lloyd then put some of his long brown hair in front of his eyes. He always changed his hair style depending on his mood.

Ashleigh stared and wanted to cry. She watched him for a bit. Her hair blew into her face and she got annoyed with it. She pulled it into a high ponytail and then plaited it. She watched Lloyd for a little longer. Then, seating herself on the other side of the stump she whispered " I'm sorry." and she leaned against the stump, her eyes closed as tears dripped slowly from beneath her eyelids.

He looked down. "What have you done, dufus?" He thought to himself.
He crawled over to Ashleigh, and wrapped his arms around her.

"Don't be sad, its not your fault." He said as he wiped away her tears. "I just don't want to be judged." He continued.

Lloyd held her closer, trying hard to comfort her. "You shouldn't have gotten annoyed. You don't know what thinks of you anymore. She loved you at one point,a dn now that could have been thrown away with that kind of stuff you just pulled." He thought.

"I wouldn't judge you." she whispered. "I never could. I love you."

She then laughed shakily at a sudden thought.

"Notice that I'm always the one crying. Don't worry though. It's never because of you."

She looked at the shirt she'd given him. "You can keep that. It looks good on you."

She looked up and saw that his hair was over his eyes. She brushed it away and smiled.

"I never really get angry either. I read something once. 'Don't frown. You never know who's falling in love with your smile.' I haven't really been angry since."

"We'll stay here if you want. I like it too. I just didn't want anything else to go wrong."
