Lloyd sat on a tree stump, looking out into the lake with nothing on his mind. He comstantly shifted his body to get into a comfortable position, and then 5 minutes later he would have to shift again.
"It is very quiet here." He thought to himself.
He continued to sit there listening to whatever nature brought him, until he got annoyed with the way he was sitting.
"Stupid stump." He said aloud as he moved.
"You know what. Fine, I'm moving." he continued as he got off of the stump and onto the ground.
Lloyd used the tree stump as something to lean back on as he brought his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around them.

Ashleigh had been watching the boy from up a tree. He hadn't seemed to realise yet that the stumps never work. Giggling to herself, she drew the boy leaning against the stump. Looking at it was a good likeness. But something about it didn't seem right. She screwed it up and hurled it over at the boy. It hit him on the head. Laughing, she climbed down the tree. She walked over until she was stood over the boy and stuck her hand out.
Lloyd placed on hand on his head were he was hit, and kept the other clenched around his legs. As he looked up he closed his right eye. He say a girl standing in front of him.
"Go on, introduce yourself." He thought to himself.
Lloyd scanned the girl and saw that he spaced her hand out He took it and shook it. "Hi...um, I'm Lloyd."
Lloyd drew every ouch of courage he had in his body to answer her.
"I'm a first...year Ravenclaw, also." He replied.
She is very friendly....and kinda cute." He thought to himself.
Lloyd still kept his right eye closed so she couldn't see what was behind his eyelid. He then realized that while he was sitting comfortably on the ground, she was standing. He moved over to his right, givning her a place to sit
Lloyd became to panic. He didn't know what to do first. Should I tell her about my eye, or should I look at the piece of paper first. Oh which one do I do. If I tell her about my eye, he might be discusted with it and go away, but if I look at the paper first she might think that I'm trying to dodge her question about my eye. Oh no, what do I do? Come on Lloyd...Think." He thought to himself.
He decided to look at the paper first. He leaned over and picked it up and brought it to his face. To his amasement, it was a picture of him, minutes before she came to him.
"This is a good drawing." He replied, smiling.
As he began to smile, he completely forgot about keeping his eye closed, and it opened suddenly exposing his pure white eye.
Her touch was welcoming, showing him comfort in talking with her. He looked down, and then lifted his head and turned to Ashleigh. Few emotions ran through his body when she asked what had happened.
"I was born this way." He replied quietly.
"During my mothers pregnacy, something happened and my eye never took a color trait from either of my parents." He continued softly.

Ashleigh smiled. It wasn't good for people to hide things about themselves. Although... "I'm a vampire. I'm under complete control though so I'm not gonna come bite you or something. I hid it for a while before making some friends. I'm sorry that that happened to you but I still think you're hot- oops!"
Ashleigh turned away to clear her head.
great you idiot. now he won't want to talk to you.
She stood up and made to run away. Tears were already dripping down her face but something stopped her from leaving.
Lloyd watched her get up and then suprisingly stop from running away. He got up and stood next to her. His eyes grew as he played back what she said in his mind.
"She said I was...hot? He thought to himself.
He looked over at her and noticed tears running down her face. He whiped them away softly, and with a smile.
"So your a vampire, huh? Thats pretty cool." He replied.

So Lloyd didn't hate her. She nodded at his comment, sniffing slightly.
"I guess so. I'm sorry about what I said, it wasn't meant to come out."
She sat back down and brought her knees right up to her chest, occasionally wiping her eyes and attempting to stop sniffing.
Ashleigh wanted someone to hold her. She wanted her younger sister there who always rubbed her back, saying in a little voice, 'What's wrong Ash?'. She just wanted the tears to stop.
Lloyd sat down beside her. He watched as she wiped her tears away.
"Maybe I should give her a hug, or just do something to maybe calm her down. He thought to himself.
"Its fine, atleast you warned me that you wouldn't bite me." He replied.
Just then, without thinking Lloyd reached over to her and gave her a hug, but didn't let go. He didn't want to let go. He just sat there with his arms around her.

Ashleigh let her knees drop and leant into the embrace. Her tears had stopped and her sniffing was quieter. The sun finally decided to come out and they had their backs to it. She didn't want him to leave. She didn't want the hug to end.
She hugged back, almost clinging to him as if her life depended on it. She looked up at him and began to wonder.
Lloyd felt the embrace tighten as Ashleigh hugged back. He closed his eyes tighter and tighter, not wanting to let go. His heart beat raced as he sat here with his arms around her.
"I don't care, I admit it. I like her." He thought to himself.
He hugged a little tighter not wanting her to go, and not wanting to let go. He just wanted to sit there.

"Yeah. I'm fine."
She stared up at him. He seemed beautiful to her. I wonder...
"Lloyd? Do you like me?"
She waited anxiously for his reply. She hadn't wanted to ask it in case it ended in tears. But she had to.
She fiddled nervously with the end of her shirt. She was wearing her best tight t-shirt with a button-up shirt over the top, unbuttoned. Her studded belt glinted in the sunlight, and she picked at the studs.
Eventually one fell off, but she didn't care like she usually did.
