Max was getting ready. She was going to meet Aiden after being gone for a few days. She had been having 'problems.' She stupidly forgot to take her medicine and so she was locked up for a while. She had been sad the whole time. She missed her Aiden! She had actually banged against the walls asking to be set free just so she could see him. It was to no avail, of course.
Max threw on her hoodie and walked out of the dorm. She was excited. How could she not be? As she stepped on to the damp stones of the dungeons, her head began to spin. That was one of the after affects of her banging against the walls until she was too tired to even move. It may have been her choice to admit herself, but they don't just let you out after that. You have to be cured. She disdained being contained, and worse, kept away from Aiden.
Max was out on the grounds, heading towards the Lake. That's where she asked to meet Aiden. After a few more minutes of walking, she reached the shore. She looked at the placid black lake. She wondered what they'd do to her if she went in and swam one day. She shrugged and walked to the edge of the lake. She sat down there, waiting. She knew he would show, she just felt bad about not warning him about her absence.
Man was Aiden excited! He got to see his girlfriend! He couldn't be any happier. He hadn't seen her in almost over a week and he missed her greatly. He was up in his dorm, changing around. He didn't know what shirt to wear. He felt like a girl while he figured this out.
While this was happening, Horatio watched him. He was going to see Max too. Aiden has finally decided on a shirt and grabbed H. He walked out of the Boys dorms, out the Gryffindor Common room and out towards the lake. With each step he took, he got more and more excited. He was going to see his girlfriend, ahhhh!
He finally got outside and Aiden started walking faster towards the lake. Yeah, that happy to see her. As he got closer, he saw Max in the distance. "Max!" He shouted, a smile growing on his face. Horatio jumped out of his arms and ran towards her. H got closer to her and 'attacked' her. He pawed at her jeans, as if saying 'Where were you, huh?!?' Aiden got closer and he pulled Max into a hug. "I missed you a lot." He said, still hugging her.
Max was going crazy with anticipation. She just couldn't wait! She watched the castle, hoping to see him coming out. She didn't see him at first. She was all sad for a moment. Then, he popped up, shouting her name. She smiled. She saw a black blob rush at her and attack her. She laughed. "Hi, Horatio. Didja miss me?" she said. She was glad to see the cat, even if he was in attack mode.
Max was petting Horatio when she was engulfed in a hug. She smiled as she returned Aiden's hug. She heard him speak. "I missed you too." she said, not wanting to let go. She turned her head and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm so sorry that I disappeared on you." she said. "I was having a few problems." she said. Ok, so the problem was my fault, but those stupid people should have let me out! she thought to herself. "Those darned doctors wouldn't let me see you!" she said.
Max hugged him even tighter. "I wanted to tell you why I ran off." she said. "The mean doctors wouldn't let me." she said. She realized that he didn't know what she was talking about. "I forgot my potion, the one that stops the 'change' and I had an 'accident'." she said. "They locked me up, which is when I realized that I didn't get to tell you. I banged on the walls and the door asking them to let me out to tell you I was gone, but they just didn't listen." she said. She was now refusing to go near them.
Horatio was happy. He was being petted by Max again. He started to purr. But thankfully just in time, he jumped out of her lap to avoid being crushed by his owner.
Aiden kept his arms around her. If he let go, she might disappear on him again. He didn't want that. He missed Max to much. He turned his head and gave her a kiss on the lips. He did promise himself he would give her a few since he hadn't seen her in some time.
He backed up just a bit and listened to her. "Stupid doctors. You belong here with me. I wouldn't let anything happen to you." He said and pulled Max into another hug. Aiden was seriously going to kill her by giving her to many hugs. He kissed her forehead. "Just remember to take your potion and you won't have to see them again."
Max was very happy being held by the person she loved so dearly. She was also suprised, and happy, when he gave her a kiss on the lips. She smiled. She had never thought that she'd be with Aiden. She had never been in love before, and thought it was the greatest thing in the world. She would be very glad to just sit there with Aiden forever.
Max felt him pull away to listen to her and speak. "I know you wouldn't, just like I'd never let anything happen to you." she said. She was then pulled into another hug. She felt him kiss her on the forhead. Aiden then told her to make sure to take the potion. "I promise." she said. The only time she wouldn't take it would be when she was with her family, but since she wouldn't be spending christmas there, it would be a long time before she'd Turn.
Max had never been cared for as much as she had been just the past two weeks with Aiden. She had never had someone who would just sit there in each other's arms. She smiled. She was so glad to have found him. She hugged him tighter, afraid that he'd be lost if she didn't. She refused to give him up, no matter what. She at that moment swore to herself to hold on tight to him. "I love you." she said to him, savoring the words. It felt so good for her to say them.
Aiden kept her in his embrace. He didn't want to let go of his Max. She was the only one he had at Hogwarts now. His sister had left two weeks earlier.
He smiled at the three words he heard Max say. "I love you too." Aiden said and kissed her again. Ahhhh! He just wanted Christmas around so he could spend some time with her. He was already thinking of her Christmas gift. He needed to find the right one for her. It just had to be prefect.
Horatio looked at them and meowed. He wanted some attention now. He pawed at Max's jeans again.
It seemed to Max that they both just didn't want to let go. She guessed that neither of them had been so happy in a long time that they couldn't let it slip from their fingers. She didn't plan on letting go for some time, that much was certain. She thought about how they had only been apart a few days. They really did love each other. It was very easy to see that they were happy. No one should make that go away!
Max heard Aiden say he loved her back. She felt his lips brush hers once more. Just knowing that her love was returned made her hug him even tighter. "I don't ever want to let you go." she said. The moment she said it she knew it was true. It was hard for her to even think about letting him go. She then had a thought. How far would their relationship go? She knew without a doubt that they would last a long time, if not forever.
Max felt a paw on her leg again. She looked down at Horatio. "Looks like someone is feeling left out." she chuckled. The cat was always demanding attention, she knew, and she didn't mind giving him attention, but she wasn't sure if she was ready to let Aiden go yet. She didn't know when she would let him go, either. She didn't want to know.
Aiden played with his tongue ring as he continued to hug Max. He chuckled at what she said. "I know what you mean." He said. He felt like he was Jack and she was Sally, like from The Nightmare before Christmas. He liked that movie. Max was his Sally.
He looked down at Horatio and H stared at him back. "Yeah...I guess so." He said and lossened his grip on Max but his arms were still around her. H found some space between the couple and found his way back in Max's lap. He meowed at her and rolled onto his back, wanting his stomach rubbed. Aiden looked around their surroundings for a moment then his gaze rested on the water.
Max held on to Aiden as they sat there together. She wondered how they looked to other people. She smiled. "Ever wonder what we look like to other students?" she decided to ask. She didnt' venture a peek around them. Sometimes ignorance was bliss.
Max heard Aiden speak. He then loosened his grip on her. She felt Horatio crawl in between them. She wondered how he even fit between them, they were so close. He must be a very flexible cat, she decided. She felt him roll over on his back. She smiled. "Horatio, I'd love to pet you but there'll be plenty of time for that." she said. "I haven't seen Aiden in a whole week!" she exclaimed. She gave Aiden a kiss.
Aiden laughed. "I don't know. I never really asked. I really don't care how we appear to others. They're not bothering us about it." He said, still holding her.
Horatio meowed at her again. "Okay you...this is Aiden and Max time." Aiden said and moved H from inbetween them. H wasn't happy about that. He sat on the ground and looked at them. He defiantly wasn't happy. Aiden felt Max kiss him and he smiled. A lot.
Max smiled. "Yeah, that's true." she smiled. "Besides, they probably do it too." she said. She could be a bit paranoid sometimes. She admittedly had never really dated someone before. She had always been contained within her house until she went to school last term. She held Aiden tighter.
Max smiled. "Sorry Horatio." she said. She watched H unhappily sit there. She knew he didn't like that. Then again, it was Max and Aiden time. "It'll be Horatio time soon don't worry," she said. He'd get his time soon enough, but Aiden and Max hadn't seen each other in a whole week! They deserved Aiden and Max time.
Aiden nodded. "Yeah, so don't worry about what they think. They're not important. What is important to me is that you're with me and we're both happy." He said, looking at Max.
Horatio looked at them for a few more moments and laid down in the grass, sunning himself. Aiden smiled and gently tackled her to the ground. He put his head on her shoulder and looked at the water. Even though his arms weren't around her now, he was still ever so close.
Max smiled as Aiden reassured her. "Well, I know I'm happy," she said. "I wish someone would have told me that before." she said. She was just far enough from Aiden that she could look at him. She moved closer to him and gave him a kiss. She was going to do that a lot from now on. It made her happy!
Max watched Horatio suntan himself. H was a silly cat. She was caught by suprise when Aiden tackled her to the ground. She wrapped her arms around him, even though he couldn't do the same. She felt him lay on her shoulder. "I bet you never would have guessed, but I missed you a lot." she smiled.[/color]
Aiden felt Max give him a kiss and he smiled some more. "Well, I'm happy also." He said.
He looked at her "Really?! Na uh. I missed you more." He said then kissed her cheek. Then Horatio took the oppertunity and jumped on the both of them. Attention time. He crawled all over Aiden then all over Max. He meowed.
"I'm glad." Max smiled. Aiden and her laid there on the ground by the lake. "We need to do this more often." she said. "I missed being with you." she said.
Max laughed. "No way!" she smiled. She was then kissed on the cheek, which made her smile even more brightly. She watched Horatio jump on Aiden. "Looks like it's his turn." she smiled. He then attacked her. "Hey! Must you get between us for attention?" she asked, laughing. "What do you want from us?" she asked.
Aiden laughed then he nodded, agreeing. "Okay, then we will. We'll come out here and just tackle eachother to the ground randomly."
He sighed. "H....come on." He said as Horatio continued to look at Max. He meowed again at her and sniffed her face. She smlled like dog. Then he jumped off of her and continued to look at her, as going 'Hello! I want to be petted here but you smell like dog.'
Max laughed with Aiden. "Yes, that's what we'll do." she said. "People will wonder why we do this, but we'll ignore them and tackle each other again!" she smiled.
Max smiled. Horatio was being very impatient. She watched H get off of her and stare at her with the most peculiar look. "What's wrong with you, Horatio?" she asked. She let one of her arms loose to pet Horatio. "Is that all you wanted, or are you mad at me now?" she asked.
Aiden laughed. This girl sure can make him laugh. "Yes! We'll be walking and then boom! We're on the ground. Then we'll get up and start walking again."
H meowed and started to purr. Yes! He got attention now. "I swear that cat is such an attention lover." Aiden said, picking up his head a little bit to look at his cat. Then he rested his head on Max's shoulder again.
Max loved Aiden's laugh. Her smile grew every time he did. "Yeah, that sounds great!" she said. "I know I'm doing that." she said. She vowed to tackle Aiden whenever she sees him.
Max laughed as Horatio began to purr. "Oh, you needy cat." she said. She felt Aiden move slightly. "Look at the three of us." she said. "We just love lying around." she said. She thought about it. "But I have no problem with it. You?" she asked Aiden.
Aiden laughed again. "Okay! I'm doing that too. I just what to see the looks on people's faces when we do that." He looked over at Max and smiled at her.
Horatio continued to purr as he was being petted. Aiden chuckled. "Yup, that's what we're doing. Laying around." He said then looked at her. "Nope, I don't have a problem. We can probably do this all day if you wanted to."
