What in the world was a fifth year Hufflepuff doing out in the middle of a summer shower you might ask? Well, even she did not know the answer to that question. She stood down near the lakes choppy waters staring out onto the surface as tiny beads of water hit the surface in large quantities. Her clothes were completely drenched through; her jeans, dark blue tank top and her vans. Her hair was pulled back into a pony tail which looked deflated after the beating the rain was giving it.
"Hm..." Her plan had failed! She had come out to the grounds of the castle in search of something to do, something fun. Yes, she needed to do something fun. She needed a break, but to her disappointment she found no one around. That may have been due to the fact that no one was crazy enough to be out in the rain. She was beginning to think that the common room might have been a better place to seek out what she wanted.
Ashley was enjoying her time in the misty rain however. A small smile was tugging at the corners of her lips as she made her way over to a fallen tree. She sat down, not that the soaked bark could make her any wetter than she already was, and looked down into the mud which was at her feet. She began to swing her feet back and forth, letting the tips of her shoes skim the mud, making tracks in the deep brown slush. Random memories popped into her head as she sat quietly, letting the storm rage around her till it's anger began to fade. It was a mere sprinkle when she looked up to see a figure off in the distance, making it's way toward her.
