Aubree was down at the lake wondering around. She looked around and saw that no one was around. She smiled to herself and kepted on walking. She soon gotten tired of walking she sat down at the lake and looked out. She thought about her family back at home and wished that she had more friends here like back at home. She gulped and looked around she looked back at the lake and stared out into the lake.

Another walk along the beach sounds good

Brayden thought to himself as he pushed open the portrait hole into the 7th floor corridor.
"Wish I could go outside..." the Fat Lady said, sighing, which made Brayden hold back a laugh.
The Gryffindor walked down the Grand Staircase and into the Entrance Hall. He took a quick look to the Hourglasses to see which house was in the lead for House Points and then walked outside.

Brayden strode over to the beach of Walker Lake and noticed a girl he had never seen before, by the color of the hem of her robes, she must be a Hufflepuff, and looked like she might be a 1st or 2nd year, so he walked over to say hello.
"Hi, I'm Brayden Christiansen. Second year, Gryffindor." he introduced himself.

Aubree looked up "Hi I'm Aubree Haynes" she told him as she smiled to him. She gotten up and looked around. She then turned her eyes back to the young man. "It's nice to meet you" she told him as she smiled to him again. She bit her lower lip and looked out at the lake,

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Aubree. So, are you a second year, too?" he asked her, sitting down in the sand and looking out to the lake, trying to spot the Giant Squid.
"Did you know theres a Giant Squid in the lake?" he asked her a second question, wondering if she had heard of it too.

Aubree smiled at him "Yeah I'm a second year" she told him as she sat back down in the sand. She took her flip flops off and put her toes in the sand and felt the sand going through her feet. She looked back up to Brayden "No I've never heard of that story before. Would you like to tell me about it?" she then told him as she looked back down at the sand and watched her feet starting to play in the sand.

"No I've never heard of that story before. Would you like to tell me about it?"

"Well, I don't know if you would really call it a story, but there's a Ginat Squid in the Lake, it's true. If you don't believe me you can even ask the Headmistress. But, I don't know how long they live, and it was here when she went to school, so it could've died...but I don't think so." he said. The sand was nice and cool today so it felt good on his toes. He dipped his fingers into the shallow water and twirled it around.

Aubree listened to him "Oh wow. That was pretty cool" she told him as she smiled at him. She bit her lower lip and looked back at her feet. "Have you ever been to the beach?" she asked him. Oh wow Aubree just thought about that one and it was random. She hoped that he wouldn't think she was all weired or anything like that now.

"Have you ever been to the beach?"

"Yupp. I think it's really peaceful out here, a good place to think and stuff." he told her, looking out into the Forbidden Forest.
"Since it's usually quiet out here, its definatley a good place to think when the Common Room is packed." he said, laughing a little.

Aubree giggled at what he told her. "Yeah I useto go out to the beach back home all the time." she told him as she looked out at the lake. "I had so much fun back home" she then told him as she smiled at him once more.

"That's cool, I didn't leave near a beach, so I take any chance I get to go outside and come here." he said.
The sun beat down and the heat was starting to get immense, and sweat beads were starting to drip from Brayden's nose.
"Well, it's getting a bit hot, do you wanna go back inside the castle, we can go to the Quality Quarters if you want." he asked her.

Aubree looked at him "Yeah sure" she told him as she got up and looked back at the castle and then back to Brayden "Do you like going swimming?" she then asked him as she waited for him to walk with her back at the castle.
