Jasmine had been sat staring at her ceiling for hours. She didn't know what to do exactly. She decided to go for a swim and take her guitar with her. Her hair wasn't too long so she let it run freely about her face. She changed into her swim suit and pulled some tight jeans and a Green Day shirt over the top. Into her bag she threw a towel, some biscuits her chord list for 'Demolition Lovers' and a collection of guitar picks from her dad. Frank Iero could not let his children go to Hogwarts without spare picks so he'd given all 5 of them 6 each. Each pick had a different picture on. One of Gerard, one of Mikey, one of Ray, one of Bob, one of her dad and one of her mum. She smiled and strapped her guitar to her back. She ran through the corridors and to the lake.
Jasmine decided to play guitar first. Maybe someone would come along wanting to go for a swim too whilst she played. She played 'American Idiot for a while before pulling out her chord list and a guitar pick. She paid no attention to which one. She'd been playing for 10 minutes before she heard a noise behind her.

Heartbreakers icey blue eyes scanned through the surface of the light silver lining of the tapestry around his warm, inviting, slept in bed. He had been lying there for a while now, simply holding onto his black covers, lying on his black and silver pillow, turned to the side, tracing his eyes around the featherweight tapestry, blinking occasionally, paying no attention to the world outside his bed what so ever. The sleep from his eyes long frayed and gone, he now looked wide awake, just as he was.
He simply hadn't stood out of his bed earlier because he had skipped class all day and slept until around an hour ago, it was around two o clock in the day, and Alex would not of been bothered to attend class, so instead he took a day off, slept and stared around his quiet surroundings, listening to the occasional voices as other Slytherin Boys came in to drop things in and collect things for their next classes. Alex didnt even bathe them a good morning.
Around half three, he decided he couldn't stay in the one place much longer, as his body ached from the constant lying in his soft bed. He gave a large yawn and sat up, placing his feet on the silver carpetted floor, his hair on his head falling into their usual places just as actors from a play would. Some fell into his crystal clear sea blue eyes while the others gently framed his face.
As soon as he gained full awareness and his head stopped spinning he stood up and swung the tapestry around him wide open, his eyes suddenly revealed to the sudden rush of bright light. No, not sunlight, the Dungeons were not exposed to such natural brightness, instead it was lit by silver black and green candles.
He then walked to the bathroom with nothing but his boxers. He stopped and looked in the mirror, minutes later he was ready, and dressed in his Slytherin Robes, he gave a light smirk as he thought of his excuse for not attending classes, 'overpowering, blinding headaches' Brilliant. He thought while his shoes lighty tapped the marble stairs while he proceeded into bright Enterance hall as everyone chattered, laughed and started to get ready for their next lessons.
Stepping out into the grounds, the fresh air hit him like a pleasant feeling of a large sigh of relief after significant and scarce events. With the light smile he always carried on his pale lips he walked to the Lake, his hands deep in his cloak pockets, his eyes searching for Humanity other then himself. Suddenly he noticed a girl playing a guitar from a long while away, confidently, which wasnt usual, he stepped towards her his feet making light marks on the grass he walked on.
"American Idiot, is it?" His voice sounded quiet, his accent pure English, ringing in the delicate ears of the young girl like a song.

Jasmine turned at a sudden voice and saw a Slytherin boy stood. She blinked once or twice, trying to work out what to do or say. Eventually she decided to talk.
"Yeah. Billie Joe taught me actually. Dad's good friends with him."
She smiled as she remembered sitting dumbstruck in a room with Billie Joe.
"I'm Jasmine Iero. I'm from America. Not quite as scenic as over here but..." She shrugged. "Any chance of knowing your name?"
Staring up at the boy, she thought he was cute.
"You talented in the music area?"
Jasmine looked at her guitar pick and then placed her guitar, strings down, on the floor. She hoped to make the Bob picture dizzy and began to spin the guitar pick around.

She was a Miheal, Alex could certainly tell by the act of creativity and music within her fingers playing a piece known by only the best modern rockstars, played just as good as they would, probably teaching herself as just a hobbie and talent. Not even proceeding for expensive classes, as of course she could tutor herself. His light smile still playing on his lips, almost like a pleasant habit many lacked. His eyebrows raised in surprise as she spoke of Billie Joe being good friends with her father, was it simply fiction with a hint of pure imagination, or was it real and she was born into a famous rockstars family as she indroduced her name to him these thoughts swam through his mind. Yet his face remained unmoved, as if there could be bigger and more shocking news then a famous celebrities daughter simply walking into the gates of Hogwarts. Yet if Alex had even removetly admired My Chemical Romance, maybe then, he would be even more interested, but he simply wasn't moved by their music.
So this girl was obviously from America, as Alex disected from her clearly American accent mixing with his pure English one, it sounded odd. He never knew Americans tend to ask this many questions and enquiries yet Alex continued to look at her his eyes emotionless and still, occasionally blinking. "Alex Heartbreaker. Unfortunatly, im in no form a Celebrity" He said with his rare words. Alex didnt talk much and many seen him as shy and gentle. Alex was shy, and maybe gentle, but he was indeed close to being a murderer & he didnt care who knew it.
He gave the girl a light smirk before answering her next question, it was a usual question, as many people here did have an interest in music, yet many did lack talent, in Alex's honest opinion. Yet this girl wasn't that bad with the guitar, probably because she was thought by a Rockstar himself, even those with no talent in the music industry at all would be able to learn from a Celebrity. Yet Alex didnt. "Yeah...i play guitar myself, acoustic. I sing too..."He said his piercing eyes not breaking contact with the girl, except when he took the time to slowly set himself down to sit beside her. He gave a soft sigh.

"Don't worry. I don't advertise about my dad. My brother does though."
She surveyed Alex. He seemed nice. He also seemed confused about how she introduced herself as if it was no big deal. It made her want to laugh. But she didn't. She couldn't.
"So you sing? That's cool. I was thinking of going for a swim in a bit. Do you wanna join me?"
She took a permanent marker and wrote her name on the back of the guitar.
"I'm self-taught in this kind of thing really. But I was having real trouble with American Idiot. I was completely determined so my dad got Billie Joe. You self-taught? And d'ya wanna sign my guitar? You're the first person I've talked to here."

Alex sensed a slight bit of superiour happiness and joy from this girl here, as he knew she had supressed a laugh which had been so keen to escape her pink lips. He gave a light sneer at the thought of it, nothing that had just happened or been said had been even remotely funny, maybe she was simply just easily amused, hopefully not childish.
She questioned him about going for a swim in the what looked like, crystal clear lake with its dangerous merepeople and cold September currents, like natural instinct Heartbreaker's eyes travelled to see the lake, he gave a light shiver at the thought. Never had he enjoyed swimming in Autumn, it always seemed to be freezing, even if it did wake him up, make him feel more alive, but when he felt the cold breeze on his ivory face, he had made up his mind about her question. His eyes looked back at her and he said "No thank you. Not today. You can go though, dont let me be a barrier to your facination with cold water"He said to her with his pure English accent. Maybe it had sounded cold, and jeering, but indeed, it was not, Alex sometimes was oblivious with his choice of words and the effect it might have on certain people.
She then asked another question, he listened intently while his face was graced yet again with another chilling breeze. She had asked him to sign her guitar, he gave her a light smile. As if an answer to her question. "Yes im self taught, insparation and drive must come from yourself not someone else's thoughts and methods."He said before raising an eyebrow at her strange request. What was that think she was holding? Was it some muggle device? He eyes it curiously & so instead he took his wand out of his pocket and pointed it at the guitar. Slowly he engraved Alex Heartbreaker with his left hand in gold, slanted writing. He finished it off then and smiled proudly, still not knowing what the stick she was holding was.

Ashleigh stared as he engraved his name on her guitar. He was a first year but he sure knew a lot of magic.
"I guess you don't need a pen then." she said tucking it back into her pocket. "How old are you? Tell me some stuff about you."
She smiled. Hoping to make him feel good, she gestured for him to sit down. God he's cute. No! Bad Jas! You may not fall in love!. She smiled again, hoping that her mental battle wasn't showing.
"I'm a pureblood. I just grew up in a muggle like household."

Your heart is too weak to wear on your sleeve

Of course. It was a pen, why hadn't he thought such a small thing was only graced by a three letter word? Sure a wand was more practical to him anyway. His smile turned into a light smirk as his snake bites on his lips curved along with his lips, his expression unreadable, yet his blue eyes would amaze anyone with their unusual brightness. They were certainly extremely striking. Many explained that to him. His clear face stared at her before he answered. "Im sixteen. I cant just explain my autobiography to you....I'll be here for hours. Why dont you ask me a question instead, and ill answer with a question."He said with his usual light smile he carried across his lips were ever he went.
So she was a pureblood and was simply intelligent with the ways of muggle's. Never had one muggle piece of equipment been allowed in his house. No, his family didnt even know about the muggle guitar Alex kept and had many years now, and his talent with it, graced by singing. No. They shouldnt know. It would expose them to have a reason to be annoyed at Alex other then him being a failure to them. He didnt dress the way they wanted him to. "Im pureblood too. I think thats a religion to follow for Slytherins."he said casually as he sat down next to her on the damp grass.

"Okay soooo... Your family? What are they like? and are your close family still alive?"
That seemed like a simple enough question. After all, she'd only known him for 5, 10 minutes. Why confuse herself and him. She looked up at the sky then to him.
"hand in mine into your icy blues, and then I'd say to you, we could take to the high way..."
She'd always enjoyed singing. It was the only thing she could say was her own. She could sing other people's songs and still make it her own. His eyes were such a cold, dark and disturbing blue. Almost like they wanted death. Seen death. Needed death.
Post by heartbreaker on Sept 23, 2007 15:28:26 GMT -5
She had asked the question that would sort of sum him up in one shot. Was his family all still alive....
It was almost she had read a page from his life and teasingly asked him to open up and tell her first hand so she could watch him say every word with a hint of pain, so maybe she could be there to hold his hand, or maybe even watch laughing. He smirked before answering, looking at her with shock, his eyes glinting, his pupils seemed even larger. Such a disgusting, horrible question, maybe a weak person would break down now into a million tears. No. Alex was not weak enough for that. It would be degrading. "My family is bull*hit. My father is dead."He said coldly, answering as if that was what she wanted to hear.
Suddenly she sang out of nowhere, he didnt hear every word clearly as his mind wandered in diffrent directions. His silver blue eyes watching her with curiousity, his pale lips slightly parted, and his hair blew in the breeze. Suddenly he noticed her staring, looking into his striking eyes. It wasnt a first, people did it all the time, thinking they could tell a story from them, see into his head.
Pointless Efforts.

He listened to her list of questions, not really taking them into consideration as he stared at her his eyes cold. She had asked him questions no one would ever dare, no Tyler Heartbreaker, was dead and Alex Heartbreaker's mind was not to be refreshed about it. Many believed when Alex looked at them he imagined himself slicing them open piece by piece, by his dark expressions with his bright eyes. And yes, Alex did do that sometimes, to relieve the anger that filled inside him and he couldn't express it any other way, other them imagination.
Her words seemed cheery, as if death of another person seemed like nothing sensitive to speak about. Alex's tone was cold an dark. "He was murdered" He smirked, not even daring to blink as he stared at her dangerously. Tracing her every movement, especially the one where her thin arm linked around Alex's cold shoulders. It offered no comfort, it seemed to carry sympathy instead. Alex didnt like sympathy, it made him seem weak. Something he entirely was not.
Post by heartbreaker on Sept 24, 2007 15:48:43 GMT -5
Alex noted the level of apology in her voice, he simply smirked. Being the cunning soul he was, he wouldnt forgive easily, not as easily as he bruised. He was indeed, extremely sensitive & paranoid as people called him. His eyes shifted around the coldness of the air, looking for them same people again, or whatever their were. They were watching him, he knew it. Looking for a moment to strike. He suddenly looked slightly paler then moments ago, his head thumping louder with every rustling of bushes he heard. Yet he did hide it well.
He didnt answer to her apology it was insignificant to. Instead his eyes searched their surroundings, his hands shaking from sudden coldness and fear. His mind played lyrics, and whisperings that were telling him someones watching you Alex, keep your eyes open Alex, they're going to get you Alex He smirked, and tried ignoring it, still looking around him every moment he had. He turned to her and asked suddenly. "What would you do. If I told you. We weren't alone here."he spoke with a whisper, as if someone was listening. But clearly, there was no one around them.

"I'd want to know what you were on about. Of course, I wouldn't mind if there was someone here anyway. It's not like we're doing anything private."
She looked about herself warily, just in case. She wasn't too sure about this guy anymore. She could feel a sense of almost like he was smirking. she didn't really look at his lips. She wondered if he'd ever had a broken heart. Both her and her sister were good at fixing things like that.
Post by heartbreaker on Sept 24, 2007 16:07:36 GMT -5
She seemed to speak in almost a mocking manner, to him anyway. he narrowed his eyes softly looking at her. He then gave a sigh. Why was he always so paranoid....But he knew for sure the last few days he wasnt alone, at all. He was going to answer back before she asked him a striking question, his attention span shot up the meter immediatly, his dangerous eyes watching her, his face flawless. His skin pale, yet soft and straight. While his shocking blue eyes were framed in light layers of eyeliner, and his left eye was covered in dark hair. He watched her, planning his answer. She asked such deep questions, and probably expected him to wear his heart on his sleeve.
But Alex couldnt lie he had his heart broken love wise. He had never ever been in love, such a feeling didnt exist to him, it was mythical. He would only believe it one day, when he experienced it. Which he really doubted. He calmly blinked at her before answering. "No. Not love wise. I Have never been in love."He said with his whispering cold voice, almost musical to her ears who expected him to be dramatic and explain to her how he had got his heart broken. If he said he did, he'd be lying.

Jas nodded and looked down.
"Sorry about that. I'm just good at fixing things like that. So's my sister. We just ask people to cheer them up maybe. We hope it'd work. Sorry."
She toyed with the hem of her shirt. She dug the heels of her shoes into the ground. She'd love to be able to find her brothers and sisters. But they were off exploring.
"Such a shame about never being in love. But love sucks anyway." Her eyes darkened until they seemed black. She remembered darkly her last boyfriend who'd tried to take advantage of her. She shook away the thought and looked over at Alex. She thought that maybe she was falling in love with him, but she didn't know enough about him to really be sure.
"If you like, I could show you how love feels. That's how I mend broken hearts. Find someone else suited for that person." She shrugged. She'd like to put her arm around him and cheer him up maybe. But after his earlier remark she daren't. Instead she scooted slightly closer.
