The air was crisp as the fifth year made her way down to the lake. It was early morning and this girl seemed to be the only person awake in the whole castle. She sighed as she finally reached the rocky shore of the vast lake. The water was a deep shade of blue, as uninviting as ever. The fall winds had begun to blow all around the castle, causing a drop in temperature. The lakes warm waters had been transformed into a chilly mass of water. She would hate to go swimming in there.
A sigh escaped her pink lips as her misty blue eyes turned from the waters depths to look around at the dew covered grounds. The green grass of summer was fading to a light brown quickly, what a shame. The grounds were beautiful when they were lush and green in the summer. She did not mind though. The grass dying meant one thing, winter, her favorite time of year, was drawing nearer. First, however, she would have to say hello to fall once more. She loved this season as well. All the trees turned to different rich shades of colors.
A faint smile appeared across her lips as she sat down under the branches of a tall tree. She placed her hands into her brown hoodie's pocket as she stretched out her legs in front of her. She was glad to have worn a pair of jeans, it was far too chilly for anything else.
