Cecily climbed up the stairs to the Rickety Piers. She could wait to see the lake from high up. She'd also get to see the Giant Squid. She had always wanted to see the Giant Squid. She found herself at the top. Finally. She sat on the edge. She was all alone. She looked over the edge. There it was. It splashed some water on a nearby person. She grinned at the squid.

She then crossed her legs and laid back. Mmm, very comfy. She smiled. She could just take a nap here. Or she could go cloud watching! She stared up at the clouds. She saw a... Blob. Oh, wait, something else! Wait... Just another blob. But then! There was a duck. Yay. Ducks were mucho cool.

Nessa walked out of the castle deciding where to go. Finally she chose to go to the pier.

Nessa climbed up to the pier and saw another girl sitting there. She walked up to her and saw that she was looking up at the clouds. Probably cloud watching. Nessa said to herself. She took a seat next to the girl. "Hey, I'm Nessa." She said introducing herself. She leaned back and tried to get comfy. She looked out on the lake, Finally able to see the giant squid. She laughed to herself and then looked back at the girl that was sitting there.

Cecily looked up to see a girl with black hair. Hey, I'm Nessa. Oh, she looked nice. Cecily nodded to the girl and smiled. "I'm Cecily," she said grinning, "did you see the giant squid? Wasn't he fantastical?" She grinned. Could this girl be a friend? Hopefully. Or, the horror, she could be an enemy. But hopefully not. Hopefully she would just be a nice person. A friend.

Nessa looked down into the lake. "Yes i did!" She said grinning. She remembered when Brayden had first told her about the giant squid and how she had not believed him. "It really is giant isn't it?" She said laughing. She looked back up into the sky. She knew she was so happy right then. She had to see Brayden, but she couldn't find him anywhere. But she was having a fun time relaxing and talking to Cecily. "Last night i went out in the rain with the best guy ever!" Nessa said out of nowhere. "his name is Brayden Christiansen. And He asked me out." She said smiling. She hoped she hadn't sounded dumb just telling this girl that she just met, what was on her mind.
