Trio's Hogwarts is a more mature role-playing site catered to those a little older in age (not to say we don't welcome newer role-players as well)
Please check out the Trio's Hogwarts Constitution for rules and limitations for characters and how our site it set up.
Afterwards, please visit the Biography Bastion to set up your role-play character and the celebrity claim to lock in your character appearance.
It was late afternoon on a fairly normal day, the sky was cloudy and the breeze was slight, the sun was making random appearances through breaks in the cloud formation and Josie was in a world of her own.
She sat idly on one of the parks wooden swings, arms wrapped loosely around the sides legs dangling lazily. She pushed back gently on her feet and let her shoes scuff along the ground.
It really was a half hearted attempt at swinging.
She rested her head against her arm and looked up at the cloudy sky.
Millions of shapes passed before her eyes and she found herself playing the cloud game within her head.
The sun peeked through at random intervals casting a soft glow across the empty park.
She liked it here, she was discovering many new places within the castle and it's vast grounds and was enjoying the new feeling each discovery gave her.
Leaning back off the swing, she lay so she was looking up in to the sky and began to swing a bit more passionately watching as the sky rocked back and forth, reveling in the upside down feeling this position gave her.
She pumped her legs harder gaining height and ignored the fact that as she was leaning back her long dark hair brushed against the ground.
She laughed out loud at the unbalanced feeling she got the higher she went, her brothers were right, she really was to reckless for her own good.
She had only been there a few times, but Briony had a need for some fun. So, after she had finished up with her left over homework, Briony had changed into a t-shirt and a pair of shorts and headed outside. She was headed for Hangout Park, as it had exactly what she needed. While she loved the feeling of air rushing over her face, she simply wasn't cut out to ride a broom. The park offered the next best thing, swings.
Reaching the swings, Briony stopped at the edge of the park and looked over by the swings. Briony wasn't alone, another girl was already there. The Hufflepuff had seen her before in the common room, but couldn't remember seeing her before that, so she must be fairly new. Ah well, no harm in meeting someone new. Pulling her rainbow hair in a ponytail as she walked, the Russian-French girl walked over to the swings and took a seat on one.
As she began to pump her legs back and forth, swinging a little higher each time, Briony watched as the girl in the swing beside her did the same. When the girl laughed, Briony couldln't help but to smile. "It is a wonderful feeling, is it not?"
Josie, being upside down, hadn't noticed anyone join her in the park. It was only when she sat down and she noticed her feet did she realize she wasn't alone. Righting herself she smiled over at the girl, she recognized her as a fellow Hufflepuff but hadn't actually ever spoken to her. This was probably why she was lacking friends. She was new though she figured this made it acceptable.
She grinned as she spoke to her, "Amazing feeling." She agreed, "Not quite the same as being on a broom but it has its perks."
Josie noticed the interesting array of colors donning the girls hair and smiled impressed, "Your hair is amazing," She said figuring she'd probably heard that before but had, had to mention it, "I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to do that." She said admiringly.
"I'm Josie," She told her with a smile, as she carried on swinging.
As the girl righted herself on the swing, Briony slowed her swinging a bit. Returning the girls smile, Briony shook her head a bit at the statement she made about a broom. "You are right. It is not quite the same, but this is the best I can do. I am...accident prone with a broom. I finally decided to stop trying." Truth be told her father had threatened her with death if she ever scared him so bad again. The last time she had tried to fly, she had an overnight stay in St. Mungo's.
Wrapping her hands around the chains, Briony started pumping her legs again to raise her a bit higher. Reaching a hand over to her hair when the girl mentioned it, Briony couldn't help but to grin. "Thank you. I probably wouldn't have done it but my brother talked me into it." She explained with a laugh.
"It's nice to meet you, Josie. I am Briony." Briony would have shook hands with Josie, but with them both being on swings, it would have been hard. "So, I know you are Hufflepuff, because I have seen you in the common room, but what year are you in?"
"Sounds like theres an interesting story there," Josie stated with a grin in response to her broom tale, she couldn't imagine never being on her broom again, the idea sent a chill through her.
Josie laughed at the mention of the girls brother, "My brothers are usually talking me out of things," She confessed.
It was true her brothers were constantly telling her the downfalls of her decisions and coming up with their own 'safer' alternatives, they really were far too overprotective. They could be annoying but they meant the world to Josie.
"It's nice to meet you too Briony." Josie said with a grin, as she swung higher and higher, she had a sudden urge to jump off mid air, something her wonderful brothers certainly wouldn't approve of, honestly it was like they thought she was made out of glass or something.
Josie smiled proudly at the mention of their shared house, she really was pleased to be in Hufflepuff, "I'm a newbie," She confessed with a giggle, "First year here, what year are you in?" She asked in turn, "Either you skip alot of classes or you aren't a first year," She laughed swinging higher enjoying the breeze she was creating.
