Rain was bored. She had such a short attention span somtimes. So far today she'd done everything she could think of - Played guitar, sang, drawn, Written a story, pestered some higher years etc.- except one thing. The maze. Rain had never set foot near it. She knew she'd get lost. But getting lost would be interesting as she was so bored today. She was wearing her robes for some reason, so Rain being Rain had to get changed before leaving the tower. She pulled on her lose-fitting jeans, Her large My Chem t-shirt, her Chucks and tied a hoodie around her waist. She pulled some apples and other food out of her trunk, where she kept food for when she was hungry at night or something, and filled a bag with them. Who knew how long she could be stuck in there for.
She straightened and gelled her hair to downwards spikes, her usual style, and wandered down to the common room. It was pretty empty today, so she went straight through and down to the lake. She ran her fingers in the cool water for a minute before deciding to go into the maze and not look back. She went inside and got lost within seconds. Rain really was her father's daughter. He'd manage to get lost as well.
As the young girl wandered the various pathways, she heard a loud noise from behind her. She spun around and saw nothing, guessing that it must have been from outside the maze and she was close to the edge. She walked for a while longer before seating herself on the ground and digging out a muffin from her bag. She was going to be in this maze for a long while.
