Oh, I hope you're waiting
Oh, I hope you're waiting
The darkness lingers on as the night presses toward the dawning morning. Amanda was up bright and early, in higher spirits, and nevertheless, hopeless as usual. Several weeks have passed by since the school's promotion, and she has been graced with becoming a fifth year. She never thought it would be coming so early, but that only meant two more terms until she graduates.
Though, in higher hopes, she had become theHufflepuff Quidditch Captain, which she had to start the try-outs all over again. She's been waiting, patiently, to figure out who will be joining their team since it only included four members; Amanda, Mark, Holden, and Timothy. Since Katy graduated, there were times when Amanda wished she had stayed. Now she was the only female left on that team, feeling less important by the male numbers. Well for now until she chooses the best to join their team. Are you well in the Suffering?
You've been the most gracious of hosts
You may be invited, girl, but you're not coming in
And she felt cold, teeth chattering as her light pink lips pursed into tight thin lines across her face. Her pale sapphire eyes glancing around the outer barrier of this school. The long distant mountains, silhoutted by the peeking sun that finally had shown in bright yellowish-orange face. And slowly, very slowly, did a smile crept across her relaxing lips.
She wrapped her arms around herself, still dressed in gray sweats and a white t-shirt with tennis shoes. Her long blonde curly tendrils fallen and cascading over her shoulders and down her back to her waist. Amanda didn't know why she woke up so early in the morning. It was the weekend and everyone should be sleeping in, but she felt so energetic.
Wandering by the forbidden forest, she finds a trail most have heard of, a trail perfect to walk along or run where you couldn't be caught for entering. Slowly she began to walk, her arms falling to her sides as one hand reaches into her pocket for a hair tie. Her soft wavy tendrils were all put up in a messy bun, and she was ready for her morning journey. If it was up to me
I would've figured you out
Way before the year clocked out
Oh, I hope you're waiting.
Amanda began with a slow jog down the trails, pacing herself, and breathing in through her nose and out her mouth. It had been awhile since she's worked out, barring broom-wise, but she felt that it made her think clearly, and it just felt good overall. And for once I feel clear of mind. This whole mess with Alessa and Dezi. It's just out of control. I just need to think of myself for once.
Her lips curl upwards into a smile as she turned down the trail through the dark trees that still have not been kissed by the sun. She must've been out there for more than five minutes already, in a hard jog, which she can feel her muscles tighten and perspiring lightly as sweat trickled down the sides of her face. And as tired as she felt, and out of shape, she kept on running. You've been the most gracious of hosts
You may be invited, girl, but you're not coming in
And you're not coming in
