Walking into the Potions classroom, Carina sighed happily as she looked around. It was so nice to walk in and see the room exactly how it should be. Stopwatches on every table, a place beside every table for the students cauldrons, extra cauldrons against the left wall. Glancing around as she dropped her bag by her desk, Carina couldn't help but to think that it was almost a shame not to use the set up. But, alas, they would not be needing the supplies today.

Leaning against her desk, Carina drew her wand from her sleeve. With a wave the cabinet in the back of the class unlocked, another wave and the stopwatches and extra cauldrons floated silently through the air and took their proper places in the cabinet. Before the students arrived, Carina decided to take a few moments to re-lock the cabinet. It was a rather complex spell and not one taught at the school. It took a few minutes to complete but it was worth it, since everything in that cabinet had been paid for with her own money.

Normally this was the time she would turn and place the name of the potion they would be working on and a list of supplies for them. But not today. Today they would be doing something different. The board remained blank, not leaving any clues as to today's lesson as Carina took a seat on top of her desk.

^{Natalia entered the potions classroom and was surprised to see that she was the first person to arrive. Not only that, but there was no potion scrawled across the board or any instructions to follow. Were they not doing a potion today? The Slytherin girl took cautious steps, debating whether or not she was in the right classroom. Corina was at the front, seemingly ready for her class to arrive. Was the young professor okay? It seemed that quite a few of her teachers were rather sick in the head recently. Finding herself a seat in the front of the classroom, Natalia set her cauldron down beside her feet, unsure if it would be put to use. "Good day." The words sounded more like a question than a greeting.}

Jodi walked at a fast pace toward her Potions room. She'd been down at the lake for almost an hour, but she couldn't be fully sure of the time. She'd been reading. Jodi always lost track of reality when reading, just something she couldn't avoid. It didn't bother Jodi one bit, but when she was late to things because of it, she got very annoyed at herself.

Jodi walked to the Potions door, a little out of breath. Walking into the classroom, Jodi noticed a very strange thing. All of the cauldrons and stop-watches had been put away. She looked up to the Professor, to see her sitting on top of her desk. Was Carina in a happy uncaring mood today, Jodi wondered. This set-up could mean either of two things. They where doing a written test, or they would be leaving the classroom. Neither of these things worried Jodi too much. She knew that she could handle it.

Walking into the classroom, Jodi found a seat two rows behind Natalia. Natalia sat their, with her cauldron beside her. Perhaps they had to supply their own now, Jodi questioned silently. As Jodi sat down, she swung her bag off her shoulder, and placed it on the table neatly. She undid the button, and slipped her notepad and pencil out of the bag. Thinking twice, Jodi realized she should probably keep them in her bag, perhaps they where not needed. Jodi knew better then to just assume.

"Hey Professor," Jodi said in a loud voice to grab her attention. "Will I be needing these?" Jodi asked, holding the book and pencil up in the air for the teacher to see. She quickly placed them back onto the table, and awaited her answer.

As her watch chimed, letting her know that it was time for class to get started, Carina was slightly disappointed to see that only two students showed up. It was a shame really, since it was going to be such an easy class. But, that's what happens when one doesn't show up. They never know if they could have made easy house points. The reason it was going to be so easy is because she seemed to have caught whatever cold it was that was going around. She really didn't feel up to teaching anything very hard.

Looking up as Jodi asked a question, Carina nodded to her. "Yes, actually. You will need those today." Rising from her seat, Carina cleared her throat and addressed the class. "Alright ladies. Today's class should be very simple. We're having a pop quiz. Three questions, worth 10 house points apiece. When your finished with your test, simply roll the parchment up and bring it to me. You should know all the answers from previous lessons. You may begin." That said, Carina turned toward the board and tapped it with her wand, the questions for the test appearing in seconds.

Jodi was happy to see some easy house points where in hand. It made Jodi feel a little weird though that only her and Natalia had turned up to class. Maybe there was some sort of crisis that the rest of their year had gone to. Or maybe Jodi was just overexagurating. Nothing was wrong, people just didn't like Potions class Jodi guessed. But that was coming from Jodi herself, that hated potions like it was an art. Not because she didn't like the idea of making potions, but that she could hardly ever get potions right. She was good with written work, but not hands on work.

Jodi spent about 5 minutes answering the first question, before moving onto the next. Easy lesson much.

^{A pop quiz. This should be quite simple. Natalia smiled when the idea of house points came up. Lord knows her house could use some points. She glanced to the only other student in the room. It was odd that everyone had managed to skip this lesson. Still, she wasn't bothered. She would have an easy lesson and would be awarded house points for it. Quickly, she retrieved her parchment and quill from her bag. She smoothed the page on her desk and began writing. At first glance, she was unsure of the exact answers, but as her quill met the page, the words seemed to flow out through her fingertips.}

Pop quiz, were the two wrds that he heared when he entreded him class. He grinned. He had looked over his notes and had been studying. This quiz should be easy enough. He took a seat in the middle of the classroom. There were two other people in the classroom taking the quiz.
