[Professor Carina Erikson]

Walking into the Potions classroom, Carina sighed happily as she looked around. It was so nice to walk in and see the room exactly how it should be. Stopwatches on every table, a place beside every table for the students cauldrons, extra cauldrons against the left wall. Glancing around as she dropped her bag by her desk, Carina couldn't help but to think that it was almost a shame not to use the set up. But, alas, they would not be needing the supplies today.

Leaning against her desk, Carina drew her wand from her sleeve. With a wave the cabinet in the back of the class unlocked, another wave and the stopwatches and extra cauldrons floated silently through the air and took their proper places in the cabinet. Before the students arrived, Carina decided to take a few moments to re-lock the cabinet. It was a rather complex spell and not one taught at the school. It took a few minutes to complete but it was worth it, since everything in that cabinet had been paid for with her own money.

Normally this was the time she would turn and place the name of the potion they would be working on and a list of supplies for them. But not today. Today they would be doing something different. The board remained blank, not leaving any clues as to today's lesson as Carina took a seat on top of her desk.

Selene walked down the hall lazily, wanting to be anywhere but inside a classroom. She was sick of classes, but knew she had to attend them anyway. She headed into the Potions room and noticed something different, but couldn't quite figure it out. "Hello," she said to the professor lazily. That's when she realized she was teh frist one there. Wow! That hasn't happened in ages! This lifted her mood a bit and she took a seat in themiddle of the room. That's when she realized the potion wasn't listed on the board. "What are we doing today, Professor?" she asked, her mood lightened.

Holden walked into the Potions classroom. He sighed and sat down in a chair. Holden hadn't talked in a couple days but he was fine with that. Jess was gone...yet again and he wasn't talking to Avery or Jackson. He shrugged at the thought and got out his notebook.

The Hufflepuff wrote down the notes and began getting started.[/size]

Lizzy was in a pretty good mood as she headed towards potions. She had always excelled at it and was so far doing well. Smiling ot herself she navigated the corridors with ease.

Within a few minutes she reached the classroom. When she entered it she saw she was the third person there. One of which she knew, Selene, and one she only recognized from the big food fight. Smiling to herself she went and sat next to Selene since she hadn't seen or talked to her in a long time.

"Hey," said Lizzy only after pulling out parchment, ink, and a quill, and afer giving Carina a funny look because the potion wasn't on the board. Shrugging to herself she turned to Selene.

[Kali Rune]

The Slytheirn didn't know what she should do before she would get to class. Usually she would do something, but that would cause her to be late...sometimes. But today, she had no plan whatsoever. So the girl sighed as she made her way towards the potions classroom.

Surprise =o. Kali was surprised, in a way... that the board was empty. Usually when the students come to the potioins the classroom, they would get to work on their potions. There used to be always the name of whatever it was they would be doing and stuff and Kali wondered now, what would do they since there was no clue whatsoever what it would be.

As her watch chimed, letting her know that it was time for class to get started, Carina was slightly disappointed to see that only a few students showed up. It was a shame really, since it was going to be such an easy class. But, that's what happens when one doesn't show up. They never know if they could have made easy house points. The reason it was going to be so easy is because she seemed to have caught whatever cold it was that was going around. She really didn't feel up to teaching anything very hard.

Rising from her seat, Carina cleared her throat and addressed the class. "Alright ladies and Holden. Today's class should be very simple. We're having a pop quiz. Three questions, worth 10 house points apiece. When your finished with your test, simply roll the parchment up and bring it to me. You should know all the answers from previous lessons. You may begin." That said, Carina turned toward the board and tapped it with her wand, the questions for the test appearing in seconds.

Astrid looked at the board as she gently chewed on her bottom lip. She didn't know any of the answers to the questions, and she knew that she was going to fail. Astrid had this problem...She would know the material before the test, but once she saw the questions, her mind would go completely blank. Astrid had paid attention to all the previous lessons, but she couldn't remember a single thing. It was then that the teacher's words registered in her mind. The questions were for house points, not for a grade. Astrid breathed a sigh of relief as she released her lower lip.

Lizzy listened as the class was started. O.o they only had to do a pop quiz. That should be easy enough. Though a question did come to her. Raising her hand she asked, "So are we done once we finish the quiz?" She thought of going to the library to get ahead on some homework if they were dissmissed when they were finished, but if wouldn't bother her if they weren't. She liked potions a lot.

While waiting for an answer she started writing down the questions for the pop quiz.

Time to boil something! Fantastic! Usually Levi wasn't that fond of potions, but today he actually felt like it. Hoping that they'd brew something nice, Levi descended towards the dungeons. Even though he had been there many times before, every time he entered the dark-hole it gave him shivers, not understanding that those Slythies actually enjoyed it.

As he entered the class he was slightly disappointed to find out that the usual class of brewing a potion had been replaced by a pop-quiz. Levi looked at the questions. Thank god for the whole idea of copying notes. Even though he hadn't been present in the previous class, he knew some answers to the questions, because he had copied Avery's notes.

Confidently he sat down and started answering the questions, hoping to earn some house points for Mihael. They had to win the house cup, but Hufflepuff was taking the lead :[

Holden looked at the board and began writing down the questions to the pop quiz. Professor Erikson was absolutely his favorite teacher besides Professor Halliwell. Asking about the Happy Rainbow Unicorn & Dinos Gang™'s special potion: Draught of War. She remembered! That was so sweet.

He finished the quiz in a few moments. Easy peasy pumpkin pie [insert not nice words here]. Holden put the quiz on Professor Erikson's desk and walked back to his own desk. Yes, HIS desk. Holden James Caulfield was written all over it. Not.

The fifth year tapped his left foot as he waited for the lesson to go on.[/size]

Finished with her quiz Lizzy gave it to Carina still waiting for her answer. Sitting back down she tapped her fingers on the desk in no particular rythem as she waited for the class to continue. It was quite boring, but she enjoyed the thoughtless peace. Her mind was always pretty blank of outside problems during classes so she enjoyed the few moments of absolute her time.

Avery walked casually into the Potions classroom, looking up quickly to see if anyone was there that she knew. There was Holden and Levi, present as usual. Yet, they weren't sitting next to each other. That put Avery into a great dilemma, because she wasn't sure which friend she should sit by. Holden wasn't exactly talking to her, so she figured Levi might be a better candidate for someone to talk to.

Taking a seat next to the Mihael Prefect, she smiled at him and said, "'Ello." After that, her blue eyes trailed down to what he was writing, and discovered they had a test. Looking down at her own paper, she got out a pencil and began writing out the answers, surprised she remembered so much from their lessons. Of course, the first question made a smirk appear on her features.

Elesy was late, this was never fun, being late is always bad. Elesy was going through thought, so, that meant she had difted, again. But, now she must get to class she knew. Elesy ran down the shortcuts to make it to the classroom, she walked in though, she wanted to be easy going. Elesy then took a seat somewhere near Jade.


Elesy looked at the board, she waited a second then she got out her quill and parchment. She took down what she was supposed to, then she Elesy began to rack through her brain to reme,ber all of this. She began to slowly remember, so she began to write the answers down.[/font]
