Lesson 2 #4th-7th Students (Chinese Almanac)

Seifer sat at the wooden table in his classroom, which was at the top of the Nothern Tower of the castle. This classroom used to home the loony Divinations Professor, Sybill Trelawny. Because of her, many hated the subject, thinking that it is all phoeny and fake. This made Seifer's blood boil because he always regarded Divinations as a sacred subject, only fit for those who are born with the gift for it.

However, Seifer re-decorated the room to make it look very classy and modern, he wanted the students to be in a futuristic envirnonment so that they can broaden their minds and unveal the shadows tomorrow bring. That was always his signature line, since his time at Hogwarts as a student. Now, he's forty odd and perhaps will never be able to stay here long. But he managed to bring out the best part of having a classroom at the top of the tower - the scenery of the rounds.

The tapped his wand at the door thrice and the door slowly creaked open, ready to admit students. He set a charm upon it so that it will close automatically after 15 minutes, he did not like being disrupted in class at all. If you're late, you're just going to have to wait for the next class or if you are lucky, perhaps try to plead with Seifer to permit you to enter.

[Jade "Lizzy" Silvernacle]

Lizzy was excited because finally her Divinations classes were getting on again. Walking up to the classroom she found herself first in there. Smiling at the Professor she sits down and Pulls out parchment, quill, and ink for notes if needed. She couldnt' wait for class to start and waited almost impatiently.

[Kali Rune]

Kali walked up the stairs towards her next class of the day; Divination. Of course she knew that its optional but she had taken it anyways, just like she had taken Dueling and COMC. In a way, optional classes are helpful. She didn't know why but she like taking classes like that. It might be odd for some people but the Slytherin didn't really care.

She entered the classroom quietly and sat down at the back. There wasn't much people around, only the Professor and...Jade! "Hey Jade!" Kali said to Jade as she waved at her.

[Jade "Lizzy" Silvernacle]

Lizzy turned around as another student entered. It was her friend Kali. Smiling she returned the greeting she got from her. "Hey yourself. How are you?" she asked wondering how things were goind with Kali. She hadn't seen much of her friend since they had met in the library.

[Elesy Miranda Longhorn *Rp?*]

Elesy had been very stressed, with all the school work, and, everything, but, she was ready to take on anything and everything. So she walked towards her next class, she took her time, but, yet had the more advanced speed. Elesy arrived in the class quickly. Elesy walked to the back, and, took a seat next to Kali, she saw Jade as well. "Hey Kali, Hey Jade." Elesy said, she looked around, then, looked at the Professor.


Elesy kept quiet as she let her eyes wander. Elesy had her contacts in, she hated them, and, having to wear them, but, she couldn't see without them. Elesy's long hair was in a bun, curled at the ends. She hoped that class would begin somewhat soon.[/font]

Seifer looked at his watch intently as some students started entering the classroom. There was no reason why there were so little students. This was getting worryig as he thought he saw many names on the sign up sheets. If students still don't come, he will need to take off many house points, send warning letters to the students who absented themselves and also send a notification letter to their parents, their Heads of House and the Headmistress. Seifer always disliked doing such things but he had no choice. He was, after all, a professor.

"Is that all for today?" He asked, as he frowned a little and looked at the other students, he counted 3. "Three?!" He face sunked.

[Jade "Lizzy" Silvernacle]

While waiting for Kali's answer Lizzy heard a greeting from another friend, "Hey El, How are ya?" she asked smiling at her friend. That was the funny thing. Usually if there were only three students in their year in a class it was them. Though knowing from pure fact Kali only came to classes she didn't like because she wanted to graduate as fast as she could with no extra terms. Though she didn't talk much to El lately and made a mental note to do so.

She heard the professor say something, and she looked at him and shrugged, "The students in our year never seem to think they need to come to class." she said turning back to her friends.

[Elesy Miranda Longhorn *Rp?*]

Elesy was happy to be in classes, although she couldn't wait until she was done with the school, although, she hoped to keep in contact with all her friends, that were still around by then. Elesy smiled to herslef as she thought of her future of all the things she could do with her life. Elesy pushed the thought a side for thr moment, because she heard Jade ask her how she was. "I am well. What about you?" Elesy said she looked around herself, she felt rather bored, but, that always ended soon, it alwasy did. Elesy then heard the Professor say something.


Elesy heard what Jade said, she payed close attention to what was going on so she wouldn't miss anything. Elesy just hummed slightly waiting for the Professor to have some other reaction, or say something, or maybe he would just completely ingore them, but, who cared.[/font]

[Kali Rune]

The Slytherin looked back at the voice she had heard. "Hey Jade. Im alright. What's up?" she asked her as another person entered the classroom;El. "Hey El" Kali said to her in reply. The Slytherin looked around the classroom again, waiting to see if someone would just come or something. She shrugged.

"Is that all for today? Three?!" came a voice from the Professor and Kali turned her head and frowned. There were only three people in the classroom but other people would come right? Or might come.

"Forget it. We are already half an hour behind and I do no thave enough time to wait. Somehow, I'm glad that all of you here come from Slytherin." At this, he grinned. "Moving On.."

He stood up and walked nearer to them so he don't have to stain his voice. "Today, we are touching on the Chinese Alamac. Can anyone tell me anything about it before we start?" He looked around, for hands in the air.

[Jade "Lizzy" Silvernacle]

Lizzy grinned seeing it was only Slytherins in the class. That meant one more chance to get more house points. Since they were in fourth that would be good for them.

Chinese Alamac. She'd read about them before. So she had some information on them. Since she knew a bit Lizzy raised her hand, "The traditional Chinese almanac, or Tong Shu, has long been consulted by Chinese families on a daily basis to determine the lucky or unlucky days for performing common activities." she said putting her hand down.

Elesy had no idea of what next, but, she smiled, she was just glad that they all knew each other. Elesy gave a slight sigh, she guessed three would have to work for the Professor. Elesy looked at the floor, tehn she moved her glare over to the Professor and her glare stayed still, she wanted to learn more, and, also pass, she didn't really want to fail, and, she hoped she wouldn't either.
