Found You On The Bathroom Floor (kel and Frankie)

Alex was lying on his back in the dead center of the clock tower. He watched th cogs go round. If he tipped his head back he could watch the hands of the clock quivering as they moved.
Hand in mine into your icy blues,
and then I'd say to you,
we could take to the highway,
with this trunk of ammunition too,
I'd end my days with you,
in a hail of bullets
He sang those lines over and over again. He always sang it to her. They both liked my chemand she had blue eyes. Why not?

"...In a hail of bul-...!"
he stopped mid sentance as he heard footfalls on the stairs.

Her footsteps echoed. How annoying, to try to be silent, only to have those thoughts killed because of the stupid flooring. Kel's bad was placed over her shoulders, she had taken it with her this time. It's contents safely tucked away. The main thing about Kel was her eyes, wildly following the steps as she came to the top of the Clock Tower. One of the many places she liked to explore. Finding that she wasn't alone, she blinked, this boy looked familiar, thinking harder, she realized that he was Frankies friend, Alex, the one she drew when Kel had met her.

Walking towards him, hoping that she wasn't mistaken she took a deep breath and asked quietly, sheepishly. "Um.. Is your name by any chance Alex?" Kel asked, her eyes looking at him, as she waited for a reply.

"How'd you know that? I've not met anyone here yet. I only know Frankie. Are you pshycic or something?"

How'd this girl know his name? he'd never seen her before. It was true. He didn't know a soulhere 'sept for Ashleigh. He studied the girl. She was pretty. A thought struck him. Is my Frankie making friends? he thought hard about it. What if Ashleigh met a boy and went out with him? He wouldn't be able to handle that.

Kel rose an eye brow. "I'm Kel Elliot. Frankies friend.... She drew a picture of you when I met her, and I reconized it was you..." Kel stated. Standing taller she looked at him, so this was Alex. "Belive me, I don't need to be a psychic. I have enough complications in my life." she said placing her hands on her hips. This was something Frankie did well, Kel wondered if it worked for her. Shaking her head.

Alex laughed at the girl. She could tell that either She and Frankie were alike or Frankie was already changing her. "Yeah I'm Alex. Just had a slight panic attack about that but I'm still here. So you know Ash? we've not left each other since the age of 3. Don't tell her this yet. I'm gonna tell her as soon as I get the chance. I think I love her."

He was glad to get that off his chest. He made a sound almost like a train (Ch ch ch ch) and a kitten appeared, followed by another. they wrapped them selves around his legs and crawled up to one of the benches.

He lifted them on and found some wool in his bag. He gave it to the excited kittens and turned back to Kel.

"Promise you won't tell?"

"Tell whom.. I didn't hear a word you said." Kel told him as she shut her mouth. Kel was good at keeping secrets, and this one, was to hard not to keep. She wouldn't tell Frankie.. That was the job of Alex and Alex alone.

"Yes I know Frankie.. She's pretty cool. One of my best friends." Kel told him as she watched the two kittens. "Playful little things aren't they?" Keladry questioned as she knelt, calling to one of the kittens, petting it on the head. "I love cats, I think I like them more than my painfuly evil owl Moonlight." she said laughing. Kel admired how Alex held himself, he didn't hold secrets well though, not many people would tell everyone and their cousin that they had fallen in love with their best friend.

"Thanks. I don't think I've ever told anyone that before. I've never really known anyoneother than Frankie."

He smiled as one of the kittens leaped off the bench following a piece of string dangling from his bag. "I like owls. They're so useful. But the kittens are cuter and this little furball -" he picked upthe small black cat that was chasing his bag." -Leaped at me in the shop. Shortly followed by it's snow white friend here." pointing at the white onewhich was sat patiently on the bench. "I had to buy them."

Alex liked this girl. She'd keep the secret. He placed the black kitten into his open top bag and pondered over some names. They definatly needed some. Looking at the black cat in the bag he smiled.

"Mischief."

"That's a unique name.. I swear everyone is so creative here at this school. Someone either has a artisitic talent, or they have unique names." she said. She would find someone neat to talk about everyday, so far she had met plenty of people, whom she could connect with here, Kel would have to admit to herself, that she was afraid that she wouldn't meet anyone here, and that she would be considered strange, comming from a broken family, and from a foreign country.

She nodded her head in agreement. "I would have to concur.. I love cats. Once I'm settled into my new home, Illusion said she'd get me a pet Kneazle. with is the magical version of a cat." Kel explained to him, not many people knew that tid bit. "I can't see how you could have turned down these two cute faces." she said smiling as she watched them play.
