Over the River and Through the Woods -Anyone-

Over the river and through the woods, to Hogwarts we go!

The fifth year passed many she knew and many more that she was unfamiliar with. She had a lot of people to meet this new term. The crowed in front of the train was thinning as she made her way thought the many people saying goodbye to one another and parting ways. She finally made it to the train but once she was aboard she was faced with a new challenge; finding somewhere to sit.

You would think by now this Hufflepuff would be used to the train being so crowded. She passed many compartments, which were full, and had still found no where to sit. She sighed as she continued making her way down the length of the train in search of a compartment.

At last she stumbled upon one that had no other occupants. Relief washing over her, she stepped into the compartment and placed her bag above in the racks. She then proceeded to sit down as the train gave a jerk and began to move, slowly at first but after a few moments, gaining speed. Her blue eyes were focused on the window as the station disappeared behind them and the scene changed to a beautiful country side.

Aubree just said goodbye to her parents and went onto the train. She started to look where she could sit down and wait until she had gotten to Hogwarts. She looked and looked and saw that every single car was full of kids. She kepted on walking until she found one. She opened it up and looked in she saw just one girl sitting there. "Mind if I join you?" she asked her as she walked in and put her things on the sit and sat down right by them and then looked back at the girl and smiled to her.

Ashley looked back from the window to find someone in the door way. Her blue eyes looked the girl up and down and guessed that she was younger by a few years. A first year perhaps? "Yeah, sure." Ash replied brightly, smiling at the new comer and indicating that she should join her. "I'm Ash by the way. Ashley Lovegood." She introduced herself as she girl placed her possessions on the floor and took a seat beside of them. "And who might you be?"

Aubree looked at her "Hi I'm Aubree Haynes 2nd year Hufflepuff" she told her as she smiled at her. She then looked out at the window for a few minuts. She then looked back at Lovegood and smiled to her "It's nice to meet you" she told her as she still smiled at her.

"It's nice to meet you too Aubree." She replied with a friendly smile. "So, your in Hufflepuff too huh? I'm a fifth year." she added with a smile. Her eyes flashed back to the window for a brief moment as she scenery passed them by. The train had picked up sped by now and the figures in the distance were blurred. "So, you excited about hogwarts?" she asked, trying to create a conversation.

Aubree looked at her "Yeah a hufflepuff" she smiled at her. She looked out the window for a little bit she then turned her eyes back to Ashley "Not really" she told her. "How about you?" she then asked her as she still smiled at her.

Ashley would have thought that the girl would have been excited about Hogwarts. Ashley could still remember the thrill of entering the front doors of the castle. "Yeah, I am actually." she replied with a smile. "I'm always excited to be going back to Hogwarts. Do you know many people here?" She asked, wondering if someone else had ruined the excitement for her by telling her all about the castle.

Aubree looked at her "Yeah I know Bryce Littrell" she told her as she smiled to her. She then wondered where Bryce was at. She hasn't seen him in a while. She shrugged that off and smiled to her. "Do you know Bryce Littrell?" she then asked her.

Did everyone know the Bush Baby? Geez, everywhere she turned people were asking about him. When did he become so popular? "Yeah I know him. Were best buds." She replied with a grin. Now that she thought about it, she had not seen Bryce in a while. Wonder where he had run off too? "So, how do you know him?" She asked with a polite smile.

Aubree looked at her "That's cool that you guys are best budds" she told her as she smiled to her. She looked out at the lake for a few minutes and then looked back at Ashley. "I met him back home a long time ago." she then told her as she smiled back to her again.
