Elizabeth happily made her way through the station with her mother to the Hogwart's Express. Her father had to go to work at the Ministry, so he could not join them. Elizabeth was so excited that she was finally able to go to Hogwarts. She was so excited to learn new things. After she made her way onto the train and saying goodbye to her mother, she was able to find an empty compartment, as she could not locate any of her friends. She hoped she would find them eventually.

Chad and his family of four , made their way down to Platforom nine and three quarters. "Why are we standing infront of this wall?" Chad questioned his parents as they stopped infront of it. "This leads to Platform nine and three quaters." His father said sharply. "Now run through it." Chad didn't dare to disobey his father when he was in one of his 'moods.' So he hesitently ran eyes shut, expecting to crash into the way. When no impact came, he opened them to see infront of him, a red train with at least a hundered of people waving to their beloved childeren, he had to roll his eyes at this. "Ha! Loving..." He thought to himself. "If only my parents, well dad, anyways, loved me." Sure his parents loved him as well as her little sister, Jenna. But his father had a different way of showing his 'affection' towards his childeren. Chad's mother and father, as well as Jenna walked through the wall and stood next to him also. "Well, this is it,"Marcus, his father said turning towards his son, and Chad nodded in responce. "Oh honey!" His mother, Carrie threw herself towards Chad to give him a big embrace. "Now I want you to write to me, okay?" She told him, rather than asking. "Okay," Chad said to his teared up mom. "Oh, I'll miss you, Chaddie" Jenna, his seven year old sister hugged him tightly. "I'll miss you too, Jen." He told her as he kissed her forhead affectionatly. He waved goodbye to his family and walked towards the steamer. As Chad walked through the long hallway of the train, he would glance into the windows of the compartments in attempt to find an empty one. No such luck. There was one with a girl in it. He sighed and decided that it was the next best thing. He entered the compartment door and threw his luggage up on the rack with no trouble at all, and sat hisself down on the seat across from the girl. "Hi," He greeted the girl. "My name's Chad Meyer. What's yours?" A crooked smile streching across his face.

"Where are you from?" Asked the girl introduced as, Elizabeth. "I live in Carlisle, England. That's near the border of Ireland." Chad said to the girl, picturing his house inside his head. "What's your blood status?" He asked her. Growing up in a pureblood family that ancestors believed a certain thing, he thought it was kind of important to know. He didn't care if people liked him or not, he just believed in what he was taught to believe.
"I'm pureblood." Elizabeth replied. "Why do you ask?" Even though she was pureblood, she never believed that she was better than anyone else because of it.

"Why do you ask?" The girl asked. "Because, I was brought up to see a point of view. I'm sorry if I offened you. It's almost like a ritual of mine and my family's. I don't mean anything of it," Chad sighed and gave Elizabeth one his crooked smiles, trying to ask for frogiveness by his smile.
"Oh, that's okay. Don't worry about it." Elizabeth said. She knew that Chad was sorry, and she didn't want to hold anything against him, especially since they just met. "Is this your first year at Hogwarts?" she asked. Elizabeth was curious to learn more about Chad.

"I'm not quite sure what house I'll be in, if I could narrow it down, it'd be Slytherin, well 'cause I do have quite abit of traits from there." He started, hoping she got the hint of what he ment by that." Or maybe Gryffindor because I'm brave, bold, and daring. Or just maybe Miheal," Chad trailed off. "What do you think you'll be in?" He asked.
Elizabeth saw that Chad seemed pretty interested in Slytherin. She could tell by the way he talked that he definitely had the personality of one. "I'm not really sure," she said. "People say that I'm smart, and I like to learn so maybe Ravenclaw. I wouldn't mind being in Slytherin. I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. Both of my parents were in Slytherin. I hope we're in the same House. If not I hope we can hang out some time. What's you're family like? Were they with you when you came to the station?"

Chad sighed when Elizabeth asked him about his family. "My family," He laughed without humour. "Well let's just say, my father is... strict." He tryed to find the right word. "And my mother, she's a perfectionist. She likes things done just perfectly or else. She has a split personality, so to say. And my sister, Jenna, she's the only reason why I put up with my parents. She's only seven. She's my life, if she wasn't alive I would be living somewhere else." He ran his pale fingers through his black hair and sighed once again.
"I'm sorry I asked, I hope I didn't upset you," Elizabeth said. She hoped that he wasn't too angry with her and chided herself for asking something that could potentially offend Chad. "At least you seem to have a good relationship with your sister," she added.
Rose opened the door. She was sad. She had a look at the two people that were in there. She said "Mind if I sit here? If you don't want me to just tell me. I'll just look for another compartment." She tried to smile but it didn't come through.

"It's fine, come on in," Elizabeth said. She wanted to ask Chad more about his family, but it looked like it made him uncomfortable. "What's your name?" she asked the new girl, smiling.
"Hi Chad. Well um, I don't have much to say. A part from the fact that my Grandparents died from a fire." Rose said. A tear came running down her cheek. She was wondering about their history. "So, what has been happening around your parents and yourselves?"
