A new begining

A family of three walk through the doors of Kings Cross, all who have smiles on their faces except for Lucian who is busy looking around the Station for his father.
"He said he was gonna be here to see me off." said Lucian. "I just hope I gave him the right time..."
"Your father sometimes says things that he doesn't mean Lucian." quickly and bitterly says his mother, Hellena. "You are just going to have to understand that he is selfish and doesn't think of anyone but him..."
"I see him Lucian!" says his kind step-father. "Right on time too your train leaves soon."
Lucian quickly looks to where his step-father was pointing, there was no mistake there he was, his father standing near the platform looking for Lucian.
"DAD!!!" yelled Lucian
"MY BOY!!" yelled James Grim, Lucian's father.
Lucian rushes over to hug his father, he has missed his father's embrace from the time they have spent apart.
"You look well, Lucian."
"You too dad."
"Son," Lucian feels the hand on his mother on his shoulder. "Its time to go through the platform, now are you sure that you aren't forgetting anything?
"Yes mom I am sure. Are you and dad gonna come and see me off at the platform?" asked Lucian.
"Sorry dude." said his mother. "But your step-father and I have to get home, I haven't been on my broom in ages and need to practice."
"Alright mom." said Lucian in a dissapointed tone.
"Love you son, Bob and I are so proud of you, you will make a great wizard."
"Thanks mom." Lucian gives his mother a hug and reaches out to shake his step fathers hand, he flinches but gives Lucian a handshake good bye.
Lucian watches his parents walk off and turns to his dad.
"Alright dad its just you and me."
"Right you are son, right you are."
Lucian turns to the platform with his trolley in front of him and runs at it at full speed, he closes his eyes, and when he opens them he sees the red train waiting to start off for Trio's Hogwarts.
"Ready son?" says his father
"Ready dad." replies Lucian
"Bye dad I will write as often as I can."
"As will I son, you have a good time."
They hug goodbye and then Lucian heads off to the train. He walks up the steps to the train and walks to the next empty compartment. He shoves his luggage in the rack above him and relaxes himself on the seat placed before him.
Before drifting off to a short nap he whispers to himself.
"Don't worry bout me Mum and Dad, I will be the greatest wizard of my time"

A young lady the age of fourteen, with shoulder length brown hair and emrald green eyes, followed by her identical mother and bleach blond father made their way to the place where many Trio's Hogwarts students where to go; King's Cross.
"Okay darling, you first." Natalie's father, Ben said to her. Obeying, she jogged her way through Platform nine and three quarters, followed closely by her parents. The infamous red steamer was parked infront of sorrowfilled parents, and Natalie turned to her loving parents.
"Well..." she sighed."This is it,"
"Don't worry about a thing... You'll be perfectly fine." Her mother, Isabella said with a kiss on Natalie's forehead.
"I hope so..." Natalie answered he mother.
"You'll make tons of friends." Her father imatated Isabella's action of kissing Natalie's forehead.
"Okay... Well I'm going to get going then." Natalie waved a farewell to her parents.
"Good bye dear!" They both said in unison, watching their only child enter the train.
Natalie walked down the corrior peeking in compartments in search for an empty one, and to her luck, there were none. She spotted one with a blonde boy sleeping, so she let herself in with a heavy sigh. And then she shut the sliding compartment door and set down her Eagle Owl on the seat cross the slumbering boy and put her luggage where it needed to go, trying not to awake him.

Lucian wakes up about fifteen minutes later, according to his watch to find a pretty tan girl with green eyes sitting next to him, startled a little he sits upright very quickly which tends to make the girl jump. "Sorry I didnt mean to scare you I was just a little suprised to see you." Thinking of somthing to say, after a short pause he breaks the silence. "Um...my name is Lucian, whats yours?"

About five minutes after the train began to move, Natalie took her book out of her luggage case and began to read. And about five minutes later, she had gotten bored of it and set it back. She stared at the blonde boy, wondering who he was. Suddenly the mysterious boy opened his eyes, rather fastly and jumped up. Causing Natalie to jump also in suprise. He apoligized for his actions. And Natalie nodded her head slightly in response. He intodruced hisself as Lucian.
"My name is Natalie."Natalie said smoothly. "Natalie Fredricks." She added.

"Hi, so Natilie, what do you think your favorite class is going to be once we get to hogwarts?" said Lucian. " I am going to enjoy learning D.A.D.A, I have always enjoyed reading about protective spells and," a giant smirk arose on his face. "of course jinxes!." While speaking Lucian takes out his wand and starts waving it, when it started to create sparks he becames startled and dropped it on the ground.

"HAHAHA!" Natalie laughed at Lucian. Once she calmed down, she replied to him,"I dunno really... I don't like homework at all, so probably the class that gives the least, but I do like Transfiguration. I think it's amazing how you can change one thing to another, you know?" She said with a slight smile.

"I think all magic is facinating." Lucian smiles while he begins to become comfortable with Natilie. "Do you fly?" i asked in an attept to start another conversation.

"Yes I do fly, occasionally." Natalie replied to Lucian. "I do enjoy playing Quiddich too, but I highly doubt I'd join the team..."
Natalie's Eagle Owl, Evanescence or Evie, began to chirp widly in her cage. "Shh.." Natalie shushed her bird while she fed her a treat.
"Anything from the trolley!" Yelled an elderly lady with a cart filled with sweets. Natalie litrally jumped out of her seat and bought a packet of Droobles, a Licorice Wand, and a Pumpkin Pastie. She paid up and sat back down in her seat.

"Umm I guess i will have a pack of droobles and a chocolate frog thanks." Lucian gets up and pays for the sweets and sits back down. "Merlins Beard!! We are almost at the school, we better go change into our robes, i suppose I will see you at Hogwarts, lets just hope we get into the same house."

Mouth full of Droobles Natalie attempted to say,"Oh! Yeah.... hopefully." And then Natalie got her robes out of her luggage case and stepped out of the compartment and glanced quickly over at Lucian. Then she turned around and headed down the corridor to the restrooms.
