Those things your parents always told you (use your manners, say please and thankyou) always remained at the back of your mind. Whenever needed, they would be pushed to the front. But not Thomas. They never removed themselves from the dusty, cobwebbed back. Belonged there. For they never needed to come out in the presence of another. Why should they. Never had he spoken nice words. Never.[/color]
One. Two. Three.
Three people. Only three.
Family. Just family.
He'd never asked them to come, but they had. The trio wanted to say goodbye. He hated them. Yet he adored them also. Cherished them for being there. Even when hismothermother's husband had decided he could not deal with him anymore. Thomas never wanted him to care. Never wanted anyone to care, but they had done. And his mother. His mother had removed him from their house. Permentley, he lived with his father. There was no one else. Only dad. His wife. Her child. The only three that seemed to want to be there anymore. Thomas couldn't care, It was as though he never felt any happy emotions, only those of darkness. Coldness. Heartbreak. What else was there to feel? Nothing was perfect. The world was just a pit of fire. The world was just nothing.
That had always been his opinion. What else was there to think? His opinion, in his mind, was correct. People could think all they wanted. Thomas wouldn't stop them. They had their own thoughts. Own beliefs. He was not someone whom could control what others felt. They lived their own life - he allowed it. There was nothing he could do. Nothing. If he had his way, then yes. Yes he would change things. Change it to how they should feel. To how he felt. If they world was like that, it would be boring yes, but a place he could feel capable in living in. Perhaps then something other than a frown would appear on his face.
This day was not one to think of these things.
No. For he was disappearing from the muggle world and into the magic one. A new adventure. Hogwarts School. Thomas Valentine. A new duo. Something different, it felt only right. He needed to get away from them. Even though he perhaps cared now. Perhaps had some feelings towards them. But being away was needed. His whole life he had seen them. Been around them. A time for new was needed.
Thomas sat on the train. His eyes not watching the outside. Just the ground. Hair fallen pretty much over his eyes. His arms were crossed, over his stomach. No one should join them. He didn't want them. Not anyone. For he hated the world. Hated the people within. There were the only three he could stand. Only three. Nothing more, nothing less. This was how his life had been. How it had taken part. The moment he was born was never forgotten. That moment never. It played in the minds of his parents until the end. The birth of a baby. But he wasn't a baby. No, a monster. Always a monster.
You gazed upon your child that magical night. Christmas was over
but the baby was there to make it all better. You expect a smile, but you
don't see one. Something much different. A demonic fury within the boy's
eyes. It wasn't normal, and you don't understand. Your baby looks so evil.
So sad. There is nothing you can do, but think. Look at your partner in
confusion. He had seen it too. You know, and he knows;
the adventure begins.
