Emma was hurrying down the hallway, going at a quicker pace than usual. She was making her way towards the Hufflepuff Common Room to get her broom and then she was headed out towards the Quidditch Field, hopefully before it rained. She casted another anxious look at the windows, the sky was darkening faster than she wanted it to.
Her pace sped up and she rounded another corner, but her balance was off, as it almost always was. Her foot slipped and she went crashing to the floor, books spilling out everywhere. "Shoot!" she muttered under her breath.
Pain was searing through her ankle but she didn't pay any attention to it as she scrambled to gather all of her books. Why must I be such a klutz?! And at the worst times too...
