Telly.
Holland Bryer watched as a light brown school owl flew into the sky, of towards the Slytherin common room, where ever that may be, he didn't know. He had written a short note to his friend, a Miss Chantal Hurley, and he hoped she got it in time. And that she didn't have any plans, as he wanted to spend time with her. That's what friends do, they do stuff together. And since she had asked him to the Halloween ball, he felt he needed to make it up to her. They hadn't gone, simply because he had fallen off the face of the planet. Or something, he'd actually been in his dorm, not leaving, even for classes. Until now. He felt guilty, because he hadn't even informed her of this, so she probably thought she was stood up. Except, he had seen her in a few classes that day, and let her know why.
Satisfied, he left the tower and headed for the Hufflepuff dorm, looking to change out of his school uniform. Blech. He had never liked uniforms, having to wear one in private school back home. He was going to change into his costume, because this was going to be their Halloween ball, and you have to dress up for Halloween. Unless you have no holiday spirit. Holland had chosen to dress up as Prince Charming, yes, tights and all. He had told Chantal to dress up as well, and even signed the card Prince Charming, so she would get the hint.
Feeling a tad self-conscience, the Hufflepuff pulled a large black cape over himself. He didn't want people looking at him as he went through the halls dressed up like this. Hopefully she wouldn't laugh at him; that would be a huge blow on his self-esteem. He left the dorm, looking and feeling rather mysterious in his cape. Mwhahaha. He stopped outside the M.E.R, where he had been spending a lot of time lately, and hoped that it was empty. If not, then his plans would be ruined, and he'd have to post-pone, or just blow it off. No, no, he didn't want to do that.
Holland fortunately found it empty, good. He checked the time, Chantal should be arriving any time now. Smiling, he made sure everything was in place, and then, still in his cape, waited.
