It was hardly rare to see young Gerard with his Blue iPod in his hands, as he headbanged along to music. It was a scene very much seen in his new room with his Uncle. A scene at his old house, with those sickening parents of his. So not, it was not rare - but common. Music had been a huge part of his life from a young age. The stylings of My Chemical Romance or Aiden were those whom he favourited this very day. Many others followed behind that. Taking Back Sunday, Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, The Medic Droid, Marilyn Manson. Only a few, but it explained his music taste. With just those few bands you could tell the music he adored.[/font][/blockquote]
Sitting there now, still an iPod in his hand, he traced the years he had enjoyed this genre. Many, many years now. Before his teenage years. Ten or Eleven. Perhaps Twelve. But still, it had been an early age for someone to like that type of music. Now he was seventeen and still a big fan. God, he was getting older and older. In a few years it would be his twenties. Next year was his eighteenth birthday, and he would still be school. That year - he became a man more-or-less. Wow. Eighteen, and Gerard still acted like a Two year old sometimes.
As a song finished, another began. Tears Don't Fall (they crash around me) by Bullet For My Valentine. Ger was actually wearing their Tee Shirt today, along with a pair of Red Skinny Jeans. Quite a handsome fella' to be honest, but to him he remained normal. Perhaps a little cute, but nothing more. He needn't be some handsome person, because he was fine how he was. Not perfect, but indeed fine. He smiled once more, as he crossed legs on the sofa, perhaps waiting for another.
