No one knows what the wandering room really looks like as it is always projecting the form of somewhere around the world. Much like the room of requirement, it takes its occupants where the want to go. Many times it has confused its occupants into actually believing they were somewhere around the world. The only difference being lack of people.
However, there is a danger to the room. If one spends more than 24 hours consecutively in the room without at least a day between visits, the room sucks away part of the users lifespan. To guard against the dangers, special wards have been erected around the room that will only allow those that heed the room's warning inside.
