Ah, what a nice day! Sun was out, warming the fifth year as she sat under a tree along with a cool breeze brushing against her pink cheeks. Yup, this Hufflepuff loved Fall. She had always preferred the cooler seasons for some unknown reason, so this weather suited her just fine. She inclined her head back against the tree, looking up into it's shading branches, a soft smile playing across her lips. It had been a wonderful break. She had met new people and had run into an old friend of her cousins. Yes, the break had been great indeed.
With a content sigh, her blue gaze fell to the choppy waters of the lake. The girl wore a pair of jeans and a Northface jacket. She wasn't really in the mood to dress up any so that's what she had on. Simple and comfy. Her black Converses were snug on her feet as she shoved her hands into her jackets warm pockets. Even with the sun out, it was still rather chilly. Oh well, she would have to get used to the cold after such a warm summer.
Her gaze drifted away from the lake, seeing only a few other students hanging around it's sandy shore. Aw, Ashley wanted someone to have a conversation with. Maybe someone would come later on in the day. A slight frown replaced the smile as she continued to look about. She had not seen many others around lately. Not during nor after the break. What a shame. Those who had left had missed out on some real fun. The castle had been decorated in a spooky way and yet it had still held it's beauty. That was one of the many reasons why she loved this place.
The smile tugged at the corners of her lips once again as she relaxed against the trunk of the tree. Hopefully someone she knew would come along to save her from this all too quiet setting.
((Ugh, Crappy start sorry))
