Visiting the lake sounded like a good idea for Zach. He was up in the Ravenclaw Common Room, peering out the window, and noticed that many students were out on the beach with there friends. It must be a hot spot on the grounds, so Zach decided it was a good place to make some new friends.
Pulling on a sweatshirt, Zach walked out of the Common Room and down all seven flights of stairs of the Grand Staircase. Finally, he made his way to the Entrance Hall. First, he took a quick trip into the Great Hall for an apple, and also took a bottle of 'Butterbeer', whatever it was. He opened the Oak Front doors and walked outside.
Winter was definatley coming. The air was crisp, and cool. The leaves were all oranges, and fell in big heaps onto the grass, making the trees bare. Zach made his way over to the beach and sat down, leaning up against a tree.
He took a bite out of his apple, and looked up at the sky. The stars were bright, and shining. The lake was calm, and smooth as glass. He opened his Butterbeer, and took a sip. It was better than any muggle drink Zach had tasted before. It was nice and warm, great for a night like this. He savored the flavor, it was good to be at Hogwarts.
