It was a chilly Friday afternoon, and a girl could be seen walking along rose petal lane all by her lonesome. She was wearing a dark red and black jacket and black jeans. The cold air didn't seem to bother the girl, maybe because she never really minded the chilly weather of the fall. The girl walking was known as Kera Jonson, and right now she seemed to feel more lonely than she ever had before.
Since the beginning of the term, she hadn't really spoken to anyone, much less anyone who she had thought of as a friend. Maybe no one really liked her, so they had all decided to avoid her. Sure, she wasn't the most prefect person in the world but then again who was. Last time she checked no one was perfect.
Kera soon stopped at one of the benches halfway along the lane, and decided to sit down. Her back was facing toward the wind, she could feel it on her back instead of her face. Suddenly a light brown hawk came flying toward her and landed on top of her knee. "Hey Dante, long time no see." she said smiling at her beautiful bird. The bird had been carrying a letter, and upon realizing this Kera quickly grabbed it. Maybe it was from someone in her family, she had been starting to miss them so much.
Deciding it would be better to wait until she was back in the Gryffindor common room, she stuffed the letter into her pocket. "Here's a little treat. I found it on the school's grounds early." she said holding out a small dead mouse for the hawk. The hawk lifted it into its mouth with it's beak and flew off. Kera was now alone again, so she began staring at the many roses that were along the lane. It was so quiet here right now, and she couldn't help but wish someone would come to save her from her loneliness. Of course what was the chances of that happening. Everyone else at the school probably had so much more things to do that were better.
