Well, I've decided to write in this journal [not diary] that my mother sent to me the first day of term. Well, I guess I should say what I did today

Not much, until the evening.

I was sitting in the Quility Common Room, reading Quidditch Through The Ages when none other than Nessa Hansen decides to walk into the room. We talked for a bit and she finally blurted out a question completly over the ordinary. Would you like to go out in the rain with me? I thought it was absurd, but I got on my swimsuit and she also, and we went out into the rain. As it poured harder and harder, I noticed how much fun I was having with Nessa, she was amazing, and I knew what I would do.

So I asked her out.

right before she got inside the castle, she hasn't answered yet, but I hope very much she says yes.

Why are you up so late Brayden? Well, who knows, I for one, don't. But since I am awake, I thought I'd write a few in here.

So I'm very anxious for Nessa to come back to Hogwarts, I miss her just as much as I miss my brother and father. I wish I knew were she went, because she decided not to tell me, but she's probably just on vacation somewhere.

The other day I was in the Muggle Electronics Room with Sadie Radcliffe, and a new friend, Avery Yoshiko. Since me and Sadie are both Purebloods, and Avery is a muggleborn, he showed us some of the things muggles use. There was this one thing called a 'ray-dee-oh'. It's a thing Muggles use to listen to music. Avery accidentally dropped it (although, he might've done it one purpose, maybe that was how you turned it on?) and it made a horrible crackly, fuzzy noise. I wondered if that was what muggles listened to as music. I only know about one muggle band, named Fall Out Boy, who are pretty amazing, but thats all.

Well, now I think I should go back to bed, because I don't wanna sleep to late. Goodbye for now.
