Nothing more then Fiction.
Name: Vera Lillian Lennon
Name Meaning: Vera comes from latin, meaning The Stranger
Age: 21 Years Young.
Blood: Half Blood.
Side: Neutral
Nationality: Pure English and proud.
Guilty by Design.
Appearance: Vera stands an average height for her age, and likes the fact she isn't obnoxiously short or tall. He's just right, as her father liked to call it. She is relatively skinny, and does look like she is a bit underweight. She is healthy and eats normally, but she never seems to gain a pound. She assumes that when she hits 25 she's going to blow up like a balloon, but that remains to be seen. Her hair is always the same style usually, but the color likes to change. Well, she likes to change the color. Her favorite is a dark brown / black color, but she has been know to sport blond, chestnut, and yes, even red. She Doesn't like being tied down to one thing. Her eyes are a brown color, a crap brown actually. It's the feature of herself she hates the most. Everyone in her family has nice blue eyes, and she was stuck with crap brown. Just her luck. Vera doesn't like to wear her glasses, but she does own them. And when she does actually need them, she will put them on.[/size]
Likes: Cigarettes, Dr. Seuss, writing, Herbology, long walks in the park, cold weather, Quidditch, music, Poking fun at everything wrong with the world, The color White, Rebelling, being different, Chocolate. <3
Dislikes: Milk, Soda, Animal Cruelty, Spiders, Clowns, Writing essays, Romance stories, conformists, peer pressure.
Personality: Well. Vera is a person that is guaranteed to make your head turned. Put point blankly, she has an opinion about every single little thing, and will express it. She's the person who wears a kilt to skirt if it meant being different from everyone else, and the person who will not be talked down to. She can be violent, but she tries to keep everything down, because she doesn't like to create a ruckus about things unless it needs to be done.
Though she seems to be know quiet well because of her think out loud attitude, Vera is a bit of a loner. Sure, she knows a lot of people by name, a few are friends but to many Vera is the stranger. Her name suits her well. No one really knows much about her, only the fact that she loves her cancer sticks, and she will not be silenced when she has something to say. No siree she will not.
Vera likes to keep active. So she always is running around places, or going for walks. She can't sit still for too long, or she starts to play with things. She doesn't like to sleep all that much, so she usually gets about two hours a night. Vera has a thing for Dr. Seuss as well - that is very important. She isn't sure what it is about that muggle man, but if she could marry anyone, it would definitely be him. She also loves her cigarettes. Yes, she is a smoker, and doesn't care what everyone thinks about it. If you don't want her to smoke around you, then ask and she'll put it out. But other then that, don't be surprised when she lights up around you.
There usually is never a dull moment around Vera. She always has something to say, whether it be sarcastic and witty, or just her opinion. She always keeps things relatively interesting. She will tell people what she thinks no matter what they may feel afterward. She doesn't do well with authority figures, so Vera tends to lash out because she can't be held down. She doesn't like a set of strict rules, she feels they restrain her from doing what it is she truly wants. Vera loves to debate with people over topics, and doesn't like to be wrong. In a nutshell, Vera is a handful.
Permanent Imagination.
Family:
_Bella Lennon [ Mother, Muggle ]
_Jaimie Lennon [ Father, Wizard ]
_Brent Lennon [ Brother, Older, Wizard ]
History:Vera grew up in the countryside of England. She didn't go to the bigger cities often, and grew up in a small little town that was too small for her. It was the kind of place where everyone knew everything about each other. Vera hated that personally, and usually kept to herself about things at her house.
Vera's Mother was an artist, and her father was usually unemployed. Her mother had a very strict set of morals, and at times it appeared she really didn't want the responsibility of raising children. A lot of the time it was Vera and her brother against the world, but she didn't mind it all too much. Her mother always had a way of saying that things happened for a reason in life, and never really did have a mother figure for her two children. However, Vera didn't mind. Brent and she had gotten along fine without her help.
Their father, put blankly, was and still is a drunk. During their childhood he did detox himself, but he turned back to the booze a few months later. He was always getting fired from jobs, but he was a good man at heart. He was always there for Brent and Vera, and had good advice and things. However, he always did give empty promises, and that always left Vera and Brent left with nothing but empty hopes. That did bother them.
Eventually, Brent had gone to school, and wrote to Vera every chance he got. He told her how wonderful it was at the school. He told her about the magic and all the food you could possibly eat. He even told her about Quidditch. Vera was so excited to go to the school she looked forward to it for three years until she finally got her acceptance letter and headed off.
The magical School Vera went to was an escape for her. When she made a few friends and talked to them about their families, she realized that hers wasn't the best, but it could be a hell of a lot worse. Vera started to tell her parents things that they knew, but didn't want to hear. They would get in big fights, and then it would blow over by the next week or so when Vera would receive a letter from her father, or Brent convinced her to write them. But Vera is stubborn, she barely wrote them.
In school, Vera was a good student, she got great grades. It was probably because she didn't go home on holidays, and spent most of her time studying. Her brother never went home either, and they both did well in school.
Now graduated, Vera remained out of work for a while and moved out of her parents house. She checks in with them every time she gets a chance, but she doesn't talk to them as much as she should. If anything, She keeps in touch with Brent more than anyone. She worked little jobs for a while before finally deciding the Ministry is exactly where she wanted to be.
