I guess it's safe to say Trio's Hogwarts is tolerable. Not enjoyable, yet. But tolerable. I was sorted into Slytherin. Which, I guess is cool, but it wasn't really a surprise. I was thinking either that or Ravenclaw. Because I'm definitely not a do-good, brave Gryffindor, and I'm certainly NOT patient and kind like a Hufflepuff. Of course, funny thing is, my father was a Hufflepuff. Which is preposterous for those who know he's an abusive, loser nowadays. Anyway, I can deal with Slytherin. The people are like me. Give respect, get respect. They leave me alone, I leave them alone. For now anyway. I'm sure I'll be more social when I get more comfortable. I'm off to...explore? Wow, that sounds incredibly cheesy.

Well, I'm in bed. Just left Hayden. I'm just going to write quick before I go to sleep, because I know I'll forget when I wake up. The only thing keeping me awake is irritation. Diablo is bugging me, currently batting at my quill. Anyway, I've decided that no matter what we are, I want to be with him. If it turns into pure lust or develops into love, then so be it. The only way it would end is if either of us are unhappy. But right now, that's not the case. And whatever we are, I am very content with that. He has made me laugh in a way I haven't in years. He has comforted me and made me feel at ease with myself. Luckily, the Slytherin boys who saw us didn't say anything to me when I entered the common room (though, they had clearly told the rest of the room what they witnessed). I am the queen of death glares, and they practically hid at mine. My brother taught me a few spells back at home before I came here, so if the glares no longer work, I can always test them out.Well, Diablo seems to have settled down, so I think I will to.

Happy Term Break. Father's house wasn't so bad. Aside from the fact that he has new rag doll. I didn't get hit this time. I didn't even get yelled at. His words pleasant and his expressions soft. But I, of course, can see right through it. I've known the man for fifteen years, after all. I've known him even better the past three years. His rampages, especially. But I won't have to go back there. Hayden promised me I could stay with him. Though, by the looks of things - as in, I haven't had a single look of Hayden in days - I won't cross my fingers on that. I guess I could always stay with Benvolio. I should, anyway. Oh! I dyed my hair back to it's normal color, blond. I feel like a different person, thus the change. I feel like...myself. Like I did when I was kid. When Mommy was still here...

Cheers to the beginning of my first term. I have to admit, I am rather excited. It's a new beginning in general, no? I feel free, like a dove on it's morning flight, like a school of fish no longer in danger by a shark.

I know its silly of me to worry, but Hayden seems to be...gone. I'm full of regret, if I must admit it. I told him I hated him, that we couldn't be friends. And now he's gone and I'm unsure if I will ever speak to him again. I knew I cared about him, I always knew I cared about him. I cared for him more than he will ever know. And now, he will never know. I put myself into this mess. I wish I knew where he could have gone, for I would search.
