Josh Chambers had spent seven terms here at Hogwarts, and each term was spent with few dangers. That just came with the territory of being magical, danger being involved. However, this was the first time that danger seemed to be so near. For the first time, Josh felt the need for the position he'd been placed in. When awarded his Prefect's badge two terms ago, he was told that his role in the school was important. He had yet to truly see evidence of its importance until this moment. After having spoken with a Professor, he was given instructions to assist students into the great hall. As Head Boy, he was responsible for keeping the students calm and getting them to the Great Hall safely. He wasn't told of the issue at hand exactly, but he had heard whispers among the staff about the danger of discovery. He spoke to no one of what he'd heard, because he wasn't one to spread unclear information.
The 7th year Gryffindor had already emptied the rooms that branched off from this corridor, and he was leading them toward the Great Hall. Any stragglers were requested to join the collection of students. Josh couldn't deny that he felt pretty damn important at the moment, but the questions the came from the following students reminded him that he did not know enough. He stopped and turned to face the students. "I'm sure your questions will be answered once we arrive in the Great Hall, but for right now, could you please quiet your voices? Everyone must remain calm." With that, he continued toward the appointed destination, adding to the collective as they proceeded.
