Something smells figgish by the lake.

She is definitely not drunk. Definitely not drunk and definitely not sneaking into Trio's grounds and definitely not swimming naked in the lake. And she is definitely alone. Straw and Kelly are definitely not with her. They are all responsible adults who do not get drunk at birthday parties and escape to smoke cigarettes by the old lake. The whomping willow had only half beaten her up. Everything was wonderful and nothing hurt.

Straw's old Qudditch robes lye discarded on the shore and the bare pale bottom of Straw disappears under the water. He's had too much Butter beer and had somehow been convinced him to sneak out of the party and jump into the lake. It was freezing and things were definitely shrinking but Straw was too distracted to tell. "Something touched my leg, something touched me leg!" he squealed as he made his way over to a submerged Kat.

"Oh man up silly" Kat said as she remerged from the depths of the water to hear Straw's girlish squeals. "It's just Squiddy, he isn't going to hurt you". Squiddy had been here for decades. He just liked the company. "Tonight is a good night, dontcha think?" The moon and the castle and the magic were making Kat all giddy.

"It's definitely magical!" Straw pondered gazing back at the silhouette of the castle towering over the lake. The moon was high and full, Straw started to randomly howl at the moon. "This was the best idea! Where is Evans?" Straw looked back to the darkened shore to find it empty. Had the girl followed them down? Straw looked to Kat. "Wait what? Squiddy?" Straw looked around doing a 360 spin looking into the dark abyss. "I thought that was a myth!" His voice was high and panicked.

Kat giggled as Straw howled at the moon, joining in his chorus. A moment later she heard a howl coming in reply from the shore and heard a rustle in a nearby bush. "Eep!" she squealed reaching for Straws hand in the murky water and finding Squiddys tentacle instead. "I hope that was you Evans" she called in a moment of panic. "Squiddy is real, don't stress. He's one of the safer things in here".

Straw froze as a howl echoed his and Kat's call. Straw instinctively reached for Kat and grabbed Squiddy in the process. "What was that?" He whispered edging closer to his ex wife. "EVANS?" he called stupidly into the dark and alerting whatever was put there to his location. Straw turned to look at Kat, "You're very slimy..why are you so slimy?" Straw immediately let go of whatever he was holding, "ARHHHH!!!" he screamed, loosing his footing and going completely under the water.

"STRAW NO!!!!" Kat shouted as Straw disappeared under the water. "Squiddy, save him!" Almost as if on queue she felt the tentacle leave her hand and a moment later a gasping Straw emerged from the murky water, wrapped in Squiddy's tentacle. "Oh my God Straw. Thank God you're okay! I thought I was meant to be the bad swimmer?"

A stunned Straw popped up from the freezing lake looking like a dear in the headlights. He was wrapped in the slimy tentacle of Squiddy and feeling slightly violated. Straw moved his hands around where his waist was and came into contact with the tentacle. "Yeah i'm ok," he squeaked still not comfortable with being held by Squiddy. "You can put me down now Squiddy!" and felt himself slowly lowered back into the water. Straw glanced at Kat, "I'm ready to go back now..."
