Rai openned the door to the Owlery and stepped to the nearest window to look out to the grounds. She automatically outstretched her arm as a glistening white hawk with beady red eyes back-winged to her. It landed, ruffling its feathers indulgently and staring out with her. "Larad... please take this to father." Rai whispered and tied a scroll to the hawk's outstretched leg with one hand, using deftly nimbled fingers. "Go, now."
